A) She ruins Precious PR>Things with her vocal 'gymnastics'. It was better on the UTP tour. B)Does PR>she have to play MAA Gun _every_ show? She plays a varied set from show to PR>show to 'keep it fresh' and I suppose to keep her sanity, too. But in every PR>show there it is, MAA Gun. Sure, the song has it's 'message', but give it a PR>rest! It makes her seem like such a martyr. She doesn't play her PR>'signature' songs everynight, which is very good. MAA Gun is becoming tired PR> After seeing her several times, It's like, "She could be playing song PR>'xxxxx' here. I've heard this before." PR>It's not like she's making the shows any longer. Last tour she was playing PR>90-100mins, this tour she's playing 90-100mins. I think she should get with PR>it and give us more for our money. She has 3 albums an EP, and a lot of PR>b-sides. Melissa Etheridge, Elton John and Bruce Springsteen play for OVER PR>hours each show. At least Tori can try to approach the 2 hour mark. I PR>wouldn't image anyone complaining about her playing two hours instead of 90 PR>mins. I sort of agree with you. I have seen her 5 times so far. I found myself completely bored with her when I saw her at the Jones Beach, LI, NY show recently. I am tired of her doing MAAG but I feel maybe it's like a religious thing for her to do for her fans and for herself. And I feel that she's just becoming too predictable and stagged during her shows. The little cornflake girl dance didn't really amuse me because I saw a half way dance at the May NYC shows already. I don't like that the encores are so obvious that they don't seem to be encores and no one is really clapping for her to go back on stage. Maybe I am just Tori out and need a break from her. :( ------------------------------ End of precious-things-digest V1 #179 *************************************
