I am a new subscriber and I am anxious to chat with you all about the wise and beautiful Tori Amos. I first became enamored with her music in 1992 when I ended up with a friends tape case in my car. Tori's LITTLE EARTHQUAKES was there, and with one listen, I was hooked. I connected with her lyrics profoundly, and her intense elegant voice and incredible piano skill grabbed me at the heart. I am a singer/songwriter/actor, and I have to tell you that music is one of the most important things in my life. Tori knows how to convey and image through her use of breath, pause and vocal intonation as well as instumental creativity. I think I will lurk awhile to find out what you are discussing, unless a topic comes up that I would like to respond to. Glad to be here, and I hope that my mailbox starts to get busier.
