Well, no one apparently watched the show all the way to the bitter end. Jay
invited her over to his desk. He held her hand and read off the guests for
the next night's Tonight Show.

Is that what it said?  Are you sure?  I just thought he was holding her hand
and saying what guests would be on... it didn't make sense to me that she'd
have written Jay's guests on her hand.  Oh well...
