All these incredible setlists... *Why* did she have to wait until she'd left the East Coast to resurrect "Sweet Dreams" and "Take To The Sky"??? Not to mention, now she's started playing "Talula" almost every night, and "Muhammad My Friend" quite often. Sounds like our Midwestern friends are really getting a treat, screaming alternateen audiences notwithstanding. My only consolation is, I know she'll come back this way eventually. :) And what is this with the drooling? I've never noticed her doing that before, but she's definitely having a little problem with it now. I hope it's not a symptom of some neurological disorder. :} Thanks to FroggyJen for letting us know about the Crossroads thing on VH-1. It's about time Tori got some airplay on that network. Has anyone seen the "Talula" video outside of the one time they showed it on 120 Minutes lo these many weeks ago??? It's the only one I haven't seen, now that I managed to see "Pretty Good Year" and the European "Cornflake Girl" video recently. "PGY" is a pretty interesting video. It's very obviously Cindy Palmano, and very obviously done in a hurry, but quite good nonetheless. I'm not quite sure why they included the random shot of Tori-in-the-LE-box. Anybody know who the lucky guy is that she's in bed with for half the video? I especially like the dancing bit during the "hey what's it gonna take" bridge: we're so used to seeing Tori sitting at her piano, it's unexpected to see her actually moving. :) And not to start anything untoward, but if anyone wanted to add fuel to the silly "Tori Amos is a Kate Bush ripoff" fire they'd just have to point to that bit -- she really is dancing quite a bit like Kate there. :) Greg Burrell corrected and elucidated: > Actually, Tori recorded two songs in that session. > ... > "Walking With You" was the B-side to the "Baltimore" single. > "A Happy Day" is really titled "Its A Happy Day" and was > recorded two years earlier when Tori was fifteen. She was > hired by the songwriter to arrange and perform the song as > a demo. Thanks for the clarification, Greg. :) Keep the setlists coming, folks... I need to be pissed off on a daily basis. :> +===========================================================================+ |Meredith Tarr meth@delphi.com| |Boonton, NJ USA http://remus.rutgers.edu/~woj/meth/| +===========================================================================+ |"Girls, you know those days when you feel your body isn't quite right, and | | it's probably just your brain?
