She was so into it, giving little shouts between the verses. Half >way through she forgot the words. As always Tori is so damn cute when she >makes a boo-boo, and the audience just loves her all the more. She >actually asked US to help her find her place in the song! People would >shout out words and she would say "that's not it..no no". Finally one >person yells "Well Well". She blows that person a kiss, smiles hugely, and >continues the song! The crowd loved it. Great fun! You're so lucky! This could be only the 2nd time she's played this song live. When she played it in Ottawa 2 years ago, she said it was her first, and although I haven't been keeping track, I haven't heard of it being played since then. Your description of how this performance went pretty well mirrors what happened in Ottawa, with her asking the audience what the lyrics are, except that she ended up making up a couple of verses on the spot. I was hoping she would play this one in Toronto, but since I wasn't smart enough to actually *request* it, there was small chance for that. Definitely a fun song live! >She then said she was going to try a song that she still did not know very >well. She also accepted compliments from people saying they loved her >"Thank you mam" and in a silly oh-come-on-now voice "I love you too". Then >she did a rather error free Frog On My Toe. Her smiled as she remember her >grandfather, who the song appears to be about. The "slap those boys when >they're naughty" part made the audience cheer! Sounds like she's going to start working "Frog on My Toe" into her regular shows! This is definitely a fun song live. In Toronto she had to fumble with lyric sheets for this song (which was really funny). Did she have to look at them in your show? Did Tori do an introduction to "Marianne"? I ask because I know someone to whom this means a lot. You guys got a great setlist. "Yes Anastasia", "Sweet Dreams", "Little Earthquakes", and "Frog on My Toe"... definitely a unique concert!
