That is a very wise choice,in my opinion, though I hope this coincides with Tori maybe picking up on her ability to edit herself with closer attention. Unfortunately American Doll Posse wasn't particularly crash-hot in any respect... the tour, on the other hand, was AMAZING - ADP was meant to be played live, I think. I'd be interested in hearing everybody else's thoughts... I'm glad to see someone feels the way I do, though I don't think going independent is going to help. I always thought Tori had too much leeway at Epic and got to do what she wanted to do. I've felt for many years she needs an outside producer to tell her what works and what doesn't, otherwise we get lumped with 80 minute bore-fests. She needs some outside input, definitely. But not someone telling her to write a 'hit' for MOR radio, like Epic probably did. She needs to lock 'husband' out of the studio, work with some new people, take on some other's opinions... and realise that 'less is more' when it comes to album length. I wish also that she'd do some more impressive piano stuff - it's been largely buried under layers of gloss for years. Oh, and she doesn't need percussion on every damn song.
