Can you believe I still have all that stuff saved? Well, I really enjoyed that discussion and even drew on other things and shoved a heap of it on my website. It did start way back when, before Venus, but was resurrected and I think people went with space/ether/spirit or something entirely different for that ;) YKTR was split between metal (faux I would have thought. Can you believe I heard someone the other day pronouncing that as 'fawx'. Took me ages to figure out what they were on about, then a lot of will power not to speak up about them being uncultured swines... anyway...) and plastic. Of course, the four traditional elements were gone, so we were really stretching it. There were a couple of attempted tapings of the first Sydney show and proably the second. But the results were pretty poor. I don't know if we'll get a decent sounding boot of either show. But I hope I'm wrong. As for the chatting, she chatted with the crowd both nights. There was a lot of crowd interaction on the second night when the volume on the B3 broke, and Marcel had to come out and fiddle with it. Someone chose that time to shout out to Tori that they loved her, and Tori called out that she wasn't helping. She also encouraged the audience to guess who she was going to cover for the first Piano Bar song. A former list member (Roozi) guessed correctly, and Tori called him a "wise man". The first night's interactions were limited to a long (and not brilliant) story about how the best ass in the world is in Sydney (at the zoo, on an ape), and a comment about how warm the audience was.
