Maybe if we stake out around a particular area of the concert hall? I'd have no idea about where to drink/eat in the city so someone else will have to sugest something there! Chances are I'm probably still the only one on this list that saw her back in 1994 at the State Theatre here in Sydney. I don't remember too much of it now, but I did love her rendition of Prince's "Purple Rain". It was a solo tour and I thought it weird when she played God and Cornflake Girl to a backing track. I also saw her in Washington DC in October 2001. That show had an almost perfect setlist for me and would be very hard to top. I'll pass on the parasols or candles even as I should be reasonably easy to spot. Besides the fact I'm red haired and bearded, I'll probably be wearing a blue 2001 tour T-shirt, plus I'll be with Lavenda, who may well have a pretty pink parasol up her sleeve, though it may be the type you find in a cocktail. I dont think I would forgive myself. Anyone got tickets to see her on SUNRISE? I called them up... They'll be like, Tori Who? ahhhhhh say it isnt so we gotta take action.... we at oztori gotta demand tickets to SUNRISE!!!! Hook us up moderator! That dude who saw Tori in 94 - NO WAY?! SHE HAD A BACKING TRACK!!!! are you serious? wow I don't think she would have needed it hey. Um... nup! I actually couldn't care less... lol For someone who rocked up to queue 24 hours before tickets went on sale, I'm turning out to be a bad fan, aren't I? ;-) But, seriously, what do people *say* to her at meet and greets, or she to them? I don't know her; she doesn't know me. Sounds nightmarish! And that's before even taking into consideration all the raving, crying girls in faery wings. I requested Lovesong by The Cure and Stand Back by Stevie Nicks...definitely going the the M&G - will probably get to the Concert Hall about 12ish. There's a underground carpark underneath the Concert Hall complete with sign saying 'stage door' - this is where she met everyone last time in '94 although this was after the show..might be an idea to wait here? I could go a cocktail umbrella in my hair, though not my usual style. Will see if I can find some purple ones (or just paint it... ooh there's an idea!) I'm thinking I'll be wearing my 98 Sneak Peak Tour shirt (not that I went)... that or I'll take up the 'StrangeLittleToriphile' one 'coz it's very long for public wear. Maybe we could just walk around jangling our keys going "Rabbit, I found them!" And how dare you rub it in that you went in 94, but don't remember a lot of it. ~slapslapslap~ I went to Arrested Development in 92 and I remember a good deal. I did notice though from catching a bit of Sunrise last week, though, that performers perform in a room with a glass wall, so that people from Martin Place who stand in the right spot can see in and watch the performance ... so it's possible to see (if maybe not *hear*) the performance from outside the studio, if you queue in the right place ... No. I did. I found out about the tour a bit late, so I could only get tickets to the third Sydney show (8 December 1994). I also don't remember much of the concert, other than Cornflake Girl and God with backing tracks, Little Earthquakes and -- the highlight of the night for me -- LEATHER (of all things!).
