I have to say "hmmm....". I must say that I quite like Scarlet's Walk, but Beekeeper isn't doing anything for me even though it has a similar aura. In fact, for the first time I'm leaning towards the 'drop the band' camp - strip it back to bare essentials and start over because it feels like there's something missing. Of course, I may change my opinion after twenty or so more listens.. - -enNui- ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 25 Apr 2005 20:07:43 +1000 From: Ruby So Subject: Re: [oztori] camera's at shows??? The security didn't say anything when I walked in with the camera, but he literally lifted me up (yes - picture a 6 feet tall size 20 man single-handedly lifting a 5 feet 3 tall size 8 Asian chick up) and kicked me out. Hopefully the security in Opera House is more civilised. On 4/25/05, Dev Team wrote: > > >I'm taking my camera into the show... Hahaha oh my word... I'm 5ft nothing so he could easily do a little dance with us in either arm! And while we're speaking of short, I so don't miss going to stand-up gigs in Oz. Usually I've got a perfect view of some guy's stinky back. Bleh. At the NIN gig my friend Rowan (6'4") resorted to lifting me a couple times, but it was more to keep my head from getting kicked in than getting a better view of Trent lol That said, I can't wait to move back to Oz next yr *does cartwheels* :D > > Have you ever thought of duetting with Yoko Ono? ;) > > Yoko Ono is Japanese. Chinese and Jap doing duet? You must haven't been > watching the news mate hehe :p LOL! That didn't even occur to me! But I always get mistaken for a Japanese, even here in Singapore. So basically I get my arse kissed by sales ppl who think I'm a tourist and have tonnes of cash to spend.
