We, too, are ears with feet, writes one. I feel hurt that she is neglecting us, laments another. Its no surprise that Amoss followers sounds a lot like her songs, which can be cryptic and poetic one minute, and confrontingly direct the next. The artist, who has lived in England since 1997, says the difficulty is that she now has to travel with her four year old daughter. Its a long way for a little kid, Amos says. When I saw the petition, I went to (my managers) and said, Theyre getting really serious now we have to respond to this., so were trying to figure it out. In the meantime, fans will have to be content with her newly released biography, Piece By Piece, which the singer co-wrote with journalist Ann Powers. Obviously, the tour was announced after publication. ************************************************ Now Playing: Please Visit: http://datura.glitterkitty.net "Homer no function beer well without." Since listening numerous times, I'm actually quite impressed. Not as good as her earlier stuff such as the haunting "Hey Jupiter" and the excellent "Precious Things" but nevertheless good. Got our Melbourne second concert tickets today, Balcony Row F 12 and 13. - pretty happy with these! Beats our back row seats for the first concert. All the best, Davo >I just bought the Beekeeper and I'm not sure that I like it.... Jamaica Inn >is nice, as is Orange Knickers and Parasol but the rest is just not sitting >well with me yet.
