HAHAHA that is the most funniest thing I have heard. I am a full time nurse and full time uni student. I dont have the time to go on an crusades. I just thinking helping fellow tori fans not be ripped off in the same way I have been is something called common courtesy? You might want to add it to your list of quotes there. Oh and to correct you, if ppl are doing it to 'help' tori I would have no issues. If someone asked me hey we need your cash to help tori make cheaper tickets so everyone can see her but she needs some help to do so. I would actually help and if thats what was needed I could run a fundraising function at my uni. The fact is she can feed her 'sprog' with more than crumbs. Having met Tori (I doubt she'd remember me) but in that brief moment and someone mentioned the word scalpers.....well lets say it in nice terms...it's one of Tori's pet peeves (major understatement). Scalping money a) does not help Tori in any way b) the pockets they line are their own. Tori doesnt accept charity, she has too much pride for all she has worked for. Tori if you check things out is also the head spokesperson and backer for RAINN in the US for victims of rape, abuse, domestic violence, partner rape, date rape, molestation, casa. Tori has gone through shit and she expresses a huge amount of pure determination and inspiration with her music. Tori does a shitload for the community and is very vocal for charities. Tori however doesnt have a "Tori Charity" and if someone set one up she'd accept it with grace but she would then pass it onto one of her charities, mainly RAINN. Tori is one amazing woman, beyond anyone could imagine. There's a lot more to Tori's beliefs., stance and who she is than you obviously realise or know. Just letting you know that speil in case others may have been confused by your comments that scalpers help Tori..... Well *clap clap* you got a reaction out of me but the final and last one Bon Voyage - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nathanfl-Quentin ." I'm going to the Melbourne show and am seated: CIRCLE Row BB Seats 14 - 13 I got my pre-sale tickets online as fast as I possibly could. Not sure if I really got the best seats tho. Am overwhelmed by possibilities of songs that Tori could cover live and cannot settle on anything......however, I liked the suggestion someone made for Mad World - Tears For Fears / Gary Jules. Or NIN Hurt would be good. I stumbled across the "Enough Rope" website for Andrew Denton's show on the ABC. I noticed that you can make suggestions for someone you would like him to interview and was completely bowled over by the number of people who have suggested he interview Tori Amos. What a fantastic idea! For anyone who hasn't already, I strongly recommend submitting as many requests for this as we possibly can, or at the very least, take a look at the huge number of requests already made and read some of the wonderful explanations why. In any case, it's not likely to make The Beekeeper sell an extra copy, and she's touring here anyway, so there's no 'need' to 'prove' how 'popular' she is here anymore. n. When was the last time you voted on the net50? They've made it less-riggable (that's not to say you can't rig it, or it isn't rigged). But it's harder to multiple vote. Even with what you're seeing, it's possible to still be first-come first-served. Often times, someone will pull up tickets and refuse them for whatever reason. So you can sometimes pull up excellent seats some time after the tickets have gone on sale. That said, the best tickets are generally reserved for use by the artist, their management, the venue, the promotor, and local television and radio. These reserved tickets might be made available at any point after the official start of ticket sales if it's apparent that they won't use all of them, or they might simply be sold at the venue on the day of the show (usually 2-3 hours before the doors open, but you can call the venue and ask when they release any unused tickets). If you don't have tickets to your local show, don't despair. Don't pay scalper prices now! Keep on trying the ticketing agency and the box office (I'd say once a week or so), and let your friends know that you're looking for tickets. At worst, go to the venue on the day of the show. Check the box office to see if they've got anything. Skip the scalpers, and look for the real people. There's always some individual trying to sell tickets because their buddy bailed on them, or someone got sick, or a billion other reasons. If you do try the scalpers, do it when there's less than a half hour before she's supposed to go on stage -- they'll be antsy to get rid of their tickets, and will sell them for face value or less.
