Well the Kim Carnes song was out in 1981 when Bette was still alive... 8 years before she kicked the bucket (pronounced bouquet) - so it was 'valid' at the time. Mind you, given her age at said time of song, her eyes could have indeed been afflicted with glaucoma, cataracts or any other range of ophthalmic disorders, so your 'mate's 'wwywBDe?' question could still be valid. n. I don't know that she is going to go for anything too contemporary, but I am contemplating requesting "Private Universe" by Crowded House. But I wanna sit down and listen to it again with Tori covering it in mind. Then again, I love teh drumming at the end and I would really miss it it's absence. That's a lovely song.. and would be great if she did it... in the mid 90s when the notes wouldn't have been a struggle (although I guess she can lower it several keys :P). Only, would she even know it given CH were basically only known for Don't Dream It's Over (ironic given Paul Hester's recent fate) in the US. Maybe she can dedicate Concertina to Bon Scott ('the 1st and the 40th drink')... or do a medley of songs by Ostrayans who hanged themselves - INXS's "Original Sin"(suality) [DREAM ON white boy, DREAM ON black girl] - seguing into Don't DREAM it's Over... seguing into Private Universe. Not sure if I've posted this already or not (it was a long night, and my head is a little tender) but just in case... If you're going to the Melbourne show at Hamer Hall, you can find a pretty good picture of the venue here: http://www.theartscentre.net.au/hamerhall/index.htm# Just click on the little picture to see it larger. Row C (ie, the 3rd row) does not have a seat #45. The seats for that row are 9 to 41. However, there is a seat 45 in the very middle of the 6th row of Circle Box C, which would correspond to "SBOX*C-1". You will thefore be off the ground, in a box, but the box is very close to the stage, and has an excellent view. You'll basically be facing Tori at a *slight* angle, and you'll be high enough to see over the piano and straight at her. It will make up for the fact that your off the ground and six rows back. Hope that helps. :O) J Find local movie times and trailers on Yahoo!
