Bravo. I have seen a lot of people comment about Nayth's lack of saying much good of Tori, but that was by far the most tactful and nice way of putting it I have seen. Your observation and curiosity is shared. As a general comment though, I am still loving Snow Cherries From France and Merman has been high faves for me at the moment. I dunno if it's directly from the list, but smoe.org does keep archives of the mailing list publicly available. The archives contain complete email addresses. The Yahoo! bulk email filter has been doing a good job of containing the emails, but it's still a chore to go thru and empty that thing every day and check to see that it isn't actually something useful (a few other mailing list emails have been 'mistaken' for spam before and needed to be rescued). Okay, it's not a *huge* chore ... but I'd rather not have to do it ... it's the email equivalent of putting the toilet seat down ...
