Though none of them were good enough to warrant buying the album. I even bought SLG eventually (when it went down to $10), but there's no reason for me to buy this. And to continue the grumbles, does the new website make anyone else crinkle up their nose in disgust? Thank christ it's more easily navigable than the last version, which was just useless, but it's still so ug-a-ly. Whyyy? And the new merchandise! That "Piano Love" shirt makes me shake my head in confusion every time I see it (a Tori shirt with nothing on it about Tori, yay! And it's got stupid words on it to boot -- even better!) but now I see one that says "So you can make me cum" on the back and "That doesn't make you JESUS" on the front... so nobody'll ever get the full sentence unless they're following you and suddenly jog ahead to look at your front. And the "JESUS" is so much bigger on the front than the rest of the words that, well, if *I* saw you coming in this shirt, I'd assume you were out to convert me. "Cornflake Girl" tshirt also stoopid. Though it's not all bad; I like the marle grey UTP shirt. Though, gosh, it's that or the pastel pink, blue and yellow stationary with totally out-of-context quotes at the top (judging by the one page you can see in the pic). So is there any difference between the Australian one and the import apart from the packaging?? Was at HMV and noticed that it was already on special as part of their 2 for $45 promotion! ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 02 Dec 2003 01:50:54 +1000 From: AndrewR Subject: [oztori] Never was an SQQ. I'm sorry but Mary is BAAAAD. That bit early on where her voice goes high for a second but drops back down is so jarring - as if she's hit puberty! :) Then there is that cruddy lazy singing again underneath. Ugh. That'd be the worse track out of the lot I say. I never cared much for "Mary" but now she's made it worse. I even miss the little guitar squeak noise in the original in the first few seconds. :) Everyone has praises SCFF, but I think Angels is the superior track. People also said that SCFF is 'so choirgirl' - I'd beg to differ - It's more TVaB. I am currently playing YKTR. Well they have to get rid of it somehow I guess :) Don't worry though Andz... you're no doubt going to leave buying/hearing it for another 6 months... by which time you can probably pick it up for $10. > I'm sorry but Mary is BAAAAD.
