It's because they're so thoroughly counter-intuitive that you can only get to feeling comfortable using one after you've made a time/energy/learning commitment that's too great to just go throwing away and trying another program! :P .. actually I think I'm on to something here. Does anyone have the same kind of relationship with Outlook Express or Netscape Mail that geeky types seem to have with impossible, featureless, console-based mail progs?
