I'm thrilled to be contributor number 4 to the list... ;) Indulge me this once, as I anally reply to Nathan's post: >>Pity you've not yet learnt that awkward actually has a >>double double-you in it ;) What the ? is a "double-you"... is it double the "you" Nathan - 'cause that could be a bit too much man for me. ;) >>Heheh. '94 'eh? Lemme guess - you heard Cornflake >>Girl on the radio/on TV? How cliche' ;) (grom *gasp* >>the days when Tori actually got a little promotion). Yeah, it's true, all true. Thinking back, I can't believe she performed on Hey Hey It's Saturday. The shame, the shame. I wish I had it on tape. And no, Hey Hey was not my first taste, that would mean I would have to own up to watching Hey Hey which is something I'd rather not confirm, nor deny. Seriously, it wasn't... >>Why? When her pre-98 stuff is clearly superior. Again, I am in full agreement, but have you heard the tour version of crucify from 2001 on the wurly burly... I love to hear how she reinterprets early works tour after tour... >>lol you are the human equivalent of Raspberry Swirl. Steady there boy... ;) Yours in jest, Leslie ;) - -- Powered by Outblaze ------------------------------ Date: 1 Aug 2003 08:15:22 -0000 From: "Matty Vines" Subject: Re: [oztori] Re: Hello & trading > Steady there boy... ;) > > Yours in jest, > > Leslie ;) *********I do believe the ever freakish Nathan has met his match. I applaud you all the way ;) And I do have about ten post SLG-era bootlegs - but I'm not in a position to trade right now...give me a month or so... I think Crucify is one o' those songs that never really transformed well live ('98 one was ok though). Also, WHY does Tori STILL insist on playing Crucify, Leather, China, Cornflake Girl et. al. ad nauseum when she has SUCH better material (well 'better' in the sense that it hasn't been played to death)?!
