Ah huh - I assumed as much... cause in the US - they don't get a whole 22/24/26 lot of episodes in a row - they have 5 then 2-3 weeks of repeats then another 4 and so on - which would suck. >Buffy, Slayer of the Vampyre :) LOL! OMG someone else who ADORES that LIVE VERSION!! That is SUCH a brilliant version - with the backing vocals being sung... I think I gushed overtly about it one night on #oztori - a few years ago! :) come in houston - when I heard that being sung on that bootleg/live recording - I got shivers... up my spine. I didn't realise until afterwards (that night on #oztori) that they were the backing vocals! >i actually called channel 7 the other day Ohhh another Tori freak!! I was thinking about ringing them. OK Dale, that's two for two... can you possibly make it a third... This is a call out to any fans of the brilliant UK show "The Book Group" which just finished it's second season last Thursday on the ABC. I so ADORE this show - words can't explain why. It's just funny, wierd, makes you get that puzzled dog look on your face while at the same time you are laughing out loud - ok so I TRIED to put it into words. BUT I was so busy last week on finishing my literature review that I didn't go home from uni on Thursday night and stayed all day Friday... (yes I had to throw that last part it! :) ) ANYWAY - I didn't tape the final episode... did ANYONE or does anyone know of ANYONE who taped the final episode - and if so can we arrange some way to get that tape to me!! :) I'm tempted to ring the ABC and ask them if I can get a copy or drive there and watch it or something crazy - cause I missed it. I don't care where in Australia (or the world) you are - I wanna watch the final episode. Oh and maybe if it's online - you could point me to a URL... and NO it's not on any of the file sharing networks - I've been constantly searching for the last week - with not even one hit for one episode of "The Book Group". If you don't know what I'm talking about get the season 1 DVD - cheap from JB - and watch it - by episode 6 you'll be in love with all the characters. It's like you don't know whether it's a comedy or a drama or what! totally addictive. GREAT theme music. Help me oztori... you're my only hope. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 18 Jun 2003 22:03:27 +1000 From: AndrewR Subject: Re: [oztori] an introduction, a song and an answer At 07:52 PM 17/06/2003, Nathan =?UNKNOWN?B?rg==?= wrote: >Dale Baldock wrote: > > > i used to be on this list a couple years back. i had > > to hang up my oztori > > boots for while (went travelling, finished my > > degree, blah blah), > >*that is no excuse... oztori should take priority in >your life :) * > > > > but now, > > i'm happy to announce that i've once again taken up > > the oztori challenge and > > resubscribed. i look forward to sharing your > > respective inboxes over the > > coming months :) > >Speaking of which... Ohh - I like Moloko - I don't actually have any of their albums yet! LOL! but I like a few of their singles... that Indigo song is WIERD but funny - and good. Is Rosisin the one who is guilty for bringing back the eighties look in that film clip "The Time is Now?" after that clip - it was all eighties again! :) Ohh question... Goreki or Gabriel?? I *so loved* Goreki - but now Gabriel is - I dunno SO MUCH BETTER! Andz.. why doncha search for an online group/mailing list on this.. surely there must be one where you can 'trade' or something for a copy of the ep on vid. I have a husband, an obsessive Irish friend, two cats, a famous cousin (don't ask), a fetish about peoples' hands and a strong desire to expose SP on A Current Affair. Favourite Tori song is Spark. Add: "Nayth introduced me to Tori" :) The first song of Tori's she heard was SATY whence watching the video some time around May/June 2000 (*shock Nayth doesn't actually know*... as erm that period of my life is somewhat a blur, due to a combination of post-Winkler-Scanlon depression and Celia Envy Disorder).
