I always thought it was 'train' and 'plane' when I was a young'un. Having heard no saying about trays and plates, I remain unconvinced about your alternative, particularly given that I've come across incorrect lyrics many a time on compilation albums. (When I was 12 I thought the person they employ to write out the lyrics must just get a copy of the tape and have to type out the lyrics as they were sung, and that they only got one go at it (hence the leaving out of whole verses in some instances. I figured they just got really far behind and figured if they left a whole verse out, nobody would notice). If that's any indication of how well I thought lyrics sheets were done.) ~Becc :-P - -- www.crappism.org ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 17 Mar 2003 13:58:59 -0800 (PST) From: Nathan "®" Subject: [oztori] I condede defeat...... Handily enough, she was dating Soul II Soul frontman Jazzie B at the time, and after singing with the soul and jazz collective while they were at their peak, Efua went solo and signed a deal with Virgin records. She released three singles in 1993 Down Is the Drop, Strawberry Boy and Somewhere. The latter was a funky piece of pop, and slightly unusual as it featured Efua narrating through the whole track, rather than singing. It was destined to become a summer smash after receiving much airplay, but surprisingly, the track failed to make the Top 40. All three of the singles can be found on Efua's Dream Juice album. - ------------------------------------------------------- Nathan. ===== "Hi, you've phoned the Speech Pathology Department.
