You could (just) see Tash dancing around backstage if you had a good spot when you rushed the stage at encores. But, it being dark back there, and hello, Tori was on stage singing "Tear In Your Hand" (I just typed that as "Teat In Your Hand", damn breast milk converstations...hey a cool typo. define "converstation" - the little diversions a discussion takes on the way to its final goal), so you couldn't REALLY see her. > I asked how she knew that and she avoided the question for > ages & ages, til I messaged her privately to find out more. Ah, there was a baby being nursed backstage as well. That would be Marcel's or the techie's I guess. > She said it was in the works along with a visit to Hawaii and > would probably happen after she does the UK festivals - which is after our > winter. Steve was much more vague about it when Kate and I asked him - he said that if anything was going it happen, it'd probably be likely to happen when it was summer down here, at which point we said "she's not going to be touring for a solid year then is she" (considering its summer now, and would be again later in the year, unless some sort of nuclear explosion does happen and we end up in Obernewtyn or something) and he just shrugged, so we talked about sharpies/textas instead. > On the Scarlet's Walk 'thank you & > credit's page she thanks a Rosalind Walker, as part of the 'additional crew > thanks'. It had to have been her. In the back of the tour program, on the credits page, it says "Nanny: Rosaline Walker". Her picture is probably on the page, there's a whole bunch of people who I guess are crew and stuff, but I only recognise Mark, Tori, Matt and Jon. > *don't throw things.* *throws confetti and sparkles* xoxo Dan ===== I want a table - no, just for one. Okay, first things first ... it is a little dubious -- not to mention *highly* unprofessional -- that the Hawley family nanny would go to a Tori chat and and 'let slip' personal information about her charge. Not saying it *couldn't* happen, just that it's dubious. Especially since Mark is so protective of his family's privacy, said nanny would really be putting her career and reputation on the line by doing that. But, then, people make Career Limiting Moves all the time ... Also, it is something of a common trick for the more clever online trolls to impersonate a person on the periphery of a celebrity's life rather than risking it all and impersonating the celebrity ... eager fans will be much more willing to believe that they talked to Tori's chef or personal trainer online than that they talked to Tori herself. BUT, having said that, all the info given *does* seem to be consistent with what we already know: 1. Joel (Tori's bodyguard) told a few people last year that this tour would involve a trip to Australia. Now we seem to be hearing it from another person in Tori's 'camp'. 2. Tori has said she will be doing 'something' in Australia to the German press. This is consistent with a limited Aussie tour (one or two concerts and some promo stuff). 3. Tori has mentioned that what she really wanted to do for this tour was to visit every US State. This puts Hawaii on the tour map. And Hawaii is the closest spot in the US to Australia. So, conceivable, she could 'put in an appearance' here, while she's 'in the area' (or as close as she's likely to get ever again), thereby honouring a committment she made a long time ago, and hopefully shutting us up forever. So, yeah, I wouldn't take this as conclusive ... but, so far, we've got lots of consistent encouraging signs (more so than we've had for any previous tour) so there's good reason to be optimistic. But, finally, it's also worth noting that plans change. Tori really did seem set to come here in 2000, until she fell pregnant and that fell through. It's certainly possible that plans could change again for whatever reason. With Shrub hell-bent on ending the world, I can imagine that an Aussie tour could get knocked down a few pegs on the list of priorities for Tori. Okay, that's my 2c ... you can keep the change! :-) J Holly Williamson wrote:Hi Everybody, OK, I have some very very very interesting information re tori & touring. I get on the toriamos.com chatroom most days now and spend a fair amount of time there. (I hate work, yes I do!) There are a lot of very very nice people there, and today when I went there there was somebody in there who hasn't been in there before. Everyone was chatting away and somebody said something about how they bet tori's little girl is probably the spitting image of tori. And this person that nobody knew said 'she's blonde, she looks like tori a lot, but has a lot of Mark in her as well'. I asked how she knew that and she avoided the question for ages & ages, til I messaged her privately to find out more. We were talking for ages & ages & ages, like about an hour& a half. Anyway, it turned out to be a chick called Rosalind who very grudgingly admitted that she slipped up, she shouldn't have said that she knew what Tash looked like. After lots more talking & me trying to get out of her how she knew what tash looked like, she admitted that she's the nanny that goes on tour with them. She just finished the tour in Europe and is in the USA at the moment on holidays with her family until the American tour starts over there, and then she's on tour again with them. She said she has her own little boy, he goes with them, as well as she looks after Tash, Marcel Van Limbeek's baby & another baby who belongs to one of the techies. She said it was her first time in the chat room, and that a few of the people that Tori knows get on there & on the forumz sometimes to 'keep an eye on things'. She said she's friends with Tori. She didn't care whether I believed her or not, but the stuff she was saying was very self-assured and seemed to be very casual and relaxed without giving too much away. So yes, I believe that it really was Rosalind Walker, Tash's on-tour nanny, that I was talking to. I asked the inevitable question: Is she touring Australia? She said that last she heard an Australian visit was definitely in the works, and that it wouldn't probably be a full-on tour, more like a couple of shows. She said it was in the works along with a visit to Hawaii and would probably happen after she does the UK festivals - which is after our winter. I really wish I could've cut & paste the chat, but I couldn't. It sounds hard to believe, but I honestly believe this girl was who she said she was. If you could read the chat, you would agree with me. When we were chatting, she said her name was Rosalind. After we finished talking, I checked the dent for any mentions of a Rosalind. On the Scarlet's Walk 'thank you & credit's page she thanks a Rosalind Walker, as part of the 'additional crew thanks'. It had to have been her. Anyway, I thought I'd share this with you. I hope you don't think I'm crazy. I am just soooo excited, and was absolutely spinning out when it was all happening!!! *don't throw things.* holly. _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail now available on Australian mobile phones.
