Cause I checked at HMV to see if Imogen Heap was still available the other day - and it is deleted. DELETED!! I mean WTF!?! She only came on the scene in 1998. Her stuff is teriffic (thanks Trent who can't read this). You walk through the isles looking at the ABSOLUTE SHIT that is there and still being pumped out. And you have a beautiful artist like Ms. Heap - and she's deleted and inaccessbile. CRAP absolute shitey crap! I'd like to have a 'protest' against CRAP music - like they used to do about bands being 'satanic' etc. They'd lay LPs, Cassettes and CDs down on the bitchumen and procede to bring in the steamroller. It'd be great - in the middle of the Queen Street Mall. Thank god for MP3s, cause it has the potential to bring the fekking record companies to their knees - to stop those SHITE one-hit-wonders from selling megaloads of 'units' that have nothing worthwile except the single. Sometimes not even that. People download single - will force artists to pump out more quality albums - cause I don't know about anyone else but if I find an artist where I like about 3 or 4 tracks, it's a pretty good indication that the rest of the album is going to be good. I'm just thinking of Alanis. Under Rug Swept would have been, should have been just that. It had MAX 2 songs on it that were 'ok'. The rest was drivel. Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie was better than that. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 24 Jan 2003 17:02:24 +1000 From: AndrewR Subject: Re: [oztori] R&Bootylicious At 06:37 PM 23/01/2003 -0800, Nathan =?UNKNOWN?B?rg==?= wrote: >OMFG I hate r & b "music" - with a few exceptions >(perhaps Destiny's Child & that Nelly & Kelly >"Dilemma" song.. oops). Don't you hate filling out profiles and stuff where you have to tick boxes for personality traits and stuff. .and here i am ticking "Funny" and "Serious".. and, others.. me contradicting myself, y'know, me being me..here i go again..yes. AND do you know how hard it is to fill out a profile while listening to "Little EarthquakeS" live (OMG don't you just love that song live.. gets me going.. yesssss.. gimme life gimme pain gimme myself again) and being flirted with.. Flirting can be sorta bothersome sometimes don't you agree? Like one of those not-so-cute little mosquitoes buzzing around your ear and it's dark so you can't see it aaaaaaargh and it goes on.. hey, have any of you got any of those "getting to know you" personality question emails that get sent out? I'd love to have one of those, and for all of us to do here.. Awesome. They seem to go around ALL The time once a year or so, but hasn't hit now.. Hope you're all well and cute and sweet and not attacking random people.. The situations i get myself into, it's ridiculous. LOL. Sometimes i wonder if my occasional reputation (which i think is a cop out on some people's parts) of being a "weird but cool airhead" is *totally* off the mark. I guess we can be any personality trait sometimes hey.. But the things i don't notice.. I'm glad you liked my story.. Stories, i can do stories, yes.. lol.. Some of my friends try to send some of them into those teen girl magazines and stuff, but half of them are " too racy" .. hehe.. You'll just be sitting there talking, la de da, and something will remind you of something and off i go.. *laughs*. No, not 7 years DAMN YOU!!! LOL.. I don't really want to go there anyway, i manage to attract sleazebags well enough without going into pubs.. Much like my managing to cut myself frequently with electric shavers (Even tho apparently it's impossible to do so. Well i tell you, Mister Helpline Buddy, i manage fine).. *sighs*.. Like you too holl, you're sweet. lol. I"m 15 in July, so um.. 3 years til i'm legal.. But heck i look 20, i can get in anyway.. But as if you'd go there! heh.
