How Kylie-Mole an adjective of you to use! >"it's so excellent.. it's rooly bent!" This is getting freaky!I thought of Kylie Mole last night around the time of the Ripsnorter post I made.I considered mentioning her EVEN.I don't recall 'bent' being a choiceword of hers.I do however recall my neighbour Mrs Merrett 'pointing out' to an 8 or 9 year old me when I described someone as bent one evening that 'you shouldn't call someone that,do you know what it means?'To her it was the opposite of straight as in sexual preference. So I replied 'yeh but he IS a fag!'(josh) Anyway,Mrs 'M' some years later also pulled me up on using the term 'buggered'.Crikes was that woman's mind in the gutter or WOT!!Anyway,we made an agreement that to help me get out of my bad habit I could just say they woz fucked. It worked.I never said buggered near her again.Too busy fuckfuckfuckityfucking!(er no the fucked bit was a fun little embellishment..but I hope Nathan there is a Tori improv in that,that(anutha2-up!) brings it on topic!) Er,Kylie Mole had a single too!I found her funny for the first cuppla moonths! Then she was just 2 celeb. May I just briefly further pollute this lists space with a quick Noiseworks were good comment.I still like a few of their songs a LOT.(Freedom,Welcome 2 The World,Voice Of Reason specially!) Sides Cyndi had the hots for a couple of em and performed wiv em twice in Europe(as in 3+hour marathon at a CBS(not SONY yet) night, then later on,on(that's a comma not an 'i')a diff night booking out a restront 2 do it all over again.)And one of em wos nearly in a film clip of hers(the one wiv the subtitle capability, that she directed too;)but this and that happened and he wasn't basically because of 6 hours. Sides,Jon Stevens rented my sisters home for NYE weekend in 1999-2000 and he is a duper + tres dte guy. Look I'm really sorry,I'm dribbling. But I think they were a good band. I also think that was muchos clever a variation on rip Nathan.(places silver star on NN's hand!) ....Mark _________________________________________________________________ Help STOP SPAM: Try the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 03 Jan 2003 21:44:37 +1000 From: "M.T. -Oz" Subject: Re: [oztori] R.I.P. OK, let me set this straight. Kylie Mole was on the Comedy Company, Not Fast Forward. Con the Fruiterer was on the Comedy Company. Glenn Ridge wasn't in ANY comedy program - unless you cound Sale of the Century. You might be thinking of Glenn Butcher who was on Full Frontal which was AFTER Fast Forward and wasn't as funny. Batman's popularity peaked in 1989 due to the release of the first Tim Burton film. The less well received (though superior) sequel, Batman Returns and the amazing Batman: The Animated Series (*best* *show* *ever*) did not come out until 1992 (Returns was released here and in the US on 19 June 1992, and B:TAS premiered in the US on 5 September 1992 and here on 7 August 1993). :-) J - --------------------------------- Yahoo! Seriously. Alf.. He was an alien puppet.. And he's supposedly entertaining *nods and backs away slowly*. He had that strange nose thing happening so i'm sure he can't be funny.. *laughs*. > She was a character from an OZ TV show around 87-88 I think. The show was > Fast Forward I think.Con the fruiterer also debuted on that show.Funny that > he lasted so much longer than Kylie Mole. *******OOooh i know Fast Forward.. It was mostly before my time, but it was still being repeated when i was little.. That other show... Full Frontal was what i used to watch when i was younger.. But Fast Forward and Full Frontal have both been taken off, so no Milo Kerrigan and no Kylie Mole for me.. What a pity. Con the fruiterer, i know that character, yeah. > Wot about ordering some when ye get back 2 Toowoombaaaah? > Problem is I guess only Whole story is available?HMV.com is good cos the > exchange rate is only about 15% on top of OZ dollar(plus postage.) > Hope you track some down soon!(Do you have any Kate at all yet?) *****Yes, i will order online with my non existant credit card.. Heh! What a marvellous idea! How do we think of such wisdom, it just happens you know.. :P... Chaosmusic.com.au i checked yesterday and they were mostly cheaper than HMV... Hey i hope i track some down soon.. But the only thing i can find is "The Whole Story" and i've already got that.. That's what i've got and it's pretty cool. She's not as stressful as Tori can be. Has anyone seen Nayth? He hasn't been online for a few days when he usually is, and there haven't been any posts on the group from him, and as far as i know he hasn't emailed the person he said he was going to email? Hope he's ok. Maybe he's gone away.
