Yup, though Paul came afterwards, and can arguably be credited for Christianity being what it is today. He's the one who was struck blind with God booming from on high: "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?" and, after recovering, became a Christian and went out to preach to the heathens etc. All those letters from Paul in the New Testament are his efforts to keep in touch with towns he's converted in his travels, and iirc he wasn't terribly worried about adding lots of his own material in the process. So as far as what Tori's lyric says, it makes sense even though the Paul section isn't technically one of the four "original" bringers of the gospel (as if any of those four were actually written by people who knew Yeshu/Jesus anyway! Pfft!), but yeah, now you mention it, I reckon you're right with the Beatles thing -- probably an attempt to get a double meaning in there. ~Becc PS: I know this is a long shot, but I'm figuring this list is just brimming over with queer people so I'm hoping one of you might have a video I'm looking for, of a stand-up comedy programme called 'Out There', or 'Out There 2'. The last time I recall it being on TV was when I was about 15 but it may have been on Foxtel since then. Does anyone happen to have it? At what point do you think Sony will finally catch on that this album could do well internationally if they promoted the thing even slightly?? Ugh. J - --------------------------------- Yahoo!
