Mmmmmm if 'twasn't for ze net, I would have only known Tori had a new album out by seeing the ASF vid on Rage (speaking of which, I think I've watched it about twice... Sorry Torz, but I don't like it. And does anyone else get slightly squeamish mental images of Tori kissing that guy - I mean just LOOK at how her lips pracitcally STICK to him?!?!?! Mark musta requested that she rinsed her mouth out with Detol after that one) or hearing it on JJJ. I'm not going to claim that I'd possibly see it in a store as everyone knows I live under a very large rock ;) Nathan. ===== "hon, i'd rather sleep with u any day of the week than FPM (filthpigmelb)" - Dylan Plant, Dec 26th, 2002. OK 2 of the supposed "10 in existence" (*yes Naydyne [sp?] I'm just being 'tongue-in-cheek' here baby.. no need to correct me =) copies of "Baltimore" are for sale on e-bay as we speak... A 3rd copy is for sale @ eil.com atm. A 4th copy was seen photographed in the "Collectibles" book. Surely the Amos family archivist also has a 5th copy somewhere. Which brings me to the question: Where are the remaining 5 copies of "Baltimore" hiding? Does Mike Amos, as a co-writer have a copy himself? Do Mr & Mrs Amos have copies? People may not buy an album simply because it got a good review (although there are a lot of people who will buy an album because a music reviewer whose tastes match up with theirs has recommended it), but it's a reasonable way for people to find out about upcoming albums if they're already fans. I've certainly found out that albums from artists that I like are coming out because there was a music review in my local paper or in some magazine. Sony did fuckall for promotion, I agree, but I wonder how much of that is because of Tori's paranoid insistence that the album not get into the hands of fans before its commercial release. How can you really promote an album when you're facing that? /nm ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 27 Dec 2002 15:45:19 +1000 From: AndrewR Subject: Re: [oztori] Case of the missing Baltimores...
