I usedta listen to JJJ "alot" circa 1995-98.. and I must say that about 90% of the Australian "music" they played was the likes of over-nasally, tuneless guitar, derivative crap that could have easily been bootleg-recorded in a pub in about 1983 (hello Jebediah). Okay, you're really gonna have to particularise exactly what you mean by "they" here. It seems to me that almost all of the world's problems stem from people indiscriminantly applying (and misapplying) the term "they" (or its related terms such as "them", or their synonyms) to groups of actually rather heterogenous people. When you're dealing with a "they" or a "them" it's pretty easy to make all sorts of fanciful or dismissive remarks that you would never make to a "him" or a "her", let alone someone with (gasp) an actual name. What's more, the generalisation seems particularly spurious in this case as the very idea that you could get this "they" or "them" that is OzTori to agree to *anything* at all (let alone something to do with *music*) is absurd to the point of being ridiculous. So there! :-P Julian PS - I am pretty much kidding, and most definitely overreacting, so please don't take above comments to seriously. PPS - I actually don't really mind Blueline Medic's PT. OI!!!!!!!!!!!!! Repeat after me: Alex is good, Alex is good! Huuuugggeee Alex fan, have been since Black The Sun came out...have seen him play every single concert/record signing he's ever done in Melb with my friend Bec....Yes Amazing is seriously annoying, but the rest of his stuff is really good :) 2c re Oztrayn crapola: don't listen to radio anymore, not interested. I usedta listen to JJJ "alot" circa 1995-98.. and I must say that about 90% of the Australian "music" they played was the likes of over-nasally, tuneless guitar, derivative crap that could have easily been bootleg-recorded in a pub in about 1983 (hello Jebediah)." Seriously--just because you don't like the names of 15 or so bands, you proclaim that you will never listen to them? God help Tori if she'd stuck with Myra Ellen...
