I do wish I could post more, but I will be getting my first ever ibook next month, and hopefully then I can do more of the posting thing. Well, I finally got to the bottom of when SW will be available in Japan. I went to my local Tower Records store (I know a lass who works there and who has decent English-speaking skils). Anyway, the import version (US) is due on the 29th October and the Domestic version (with Japanese lyric book and sometimes and extra track for Japan only) will be released either on the 7th or 20th November. Now, the lass there knows I love Tori, but, nontheless neglected to order it in. But she did say she just ordered it then and it would arrive 31st Oct. Right in time for Halloween... After the absolute aggravation I've read over the past few weeks with the Australian release, I decided online shopping is the way to go. I pre-ordered SW from CDNOW and got an email saying they shipped it on 24th Oct. Not sure when it'll get here, but maybe it'll be before 31st Oct. Then I'll have to figure out if the DVD works on my boyfriend's Japanese Playstation II!!!! ANOTHER head trauma waiting I'm sure.... Anyway! I just wanted to express my sentiments towards Sony too... It's all such bollocks and I feel terrible for the Aussie fans who sorta expected ASF to be released there, as well sorta expecting a cool special edition which is now only a sorta special edition. Who the bloody hell makes these crappy executive decisions? I swear some of these Sony people are on crack. I totally LOVE the creativeness that went behind such works as: Harlot's Pork, Scuzz' Walk, fairy snot, etc and all of the wicked Tori Happy Meals. Loved it, thanks people! I think it's part of what separates Aussie Tori fans from US fans...maybe... cheered me up anyway! I haven't heard ANY of the songs yet, so I'm completely in the dark. Hasn't happened since Boys For Pele! (Well, actually SLG, but that sorta doesn't count) I agree that Tori needs to eat! She looks kinda sallow and a bit bony round the edges... GOD I'd love to know what Tash looks like. Zac, I'll definitely read your take on the Walk as soon as I finish listening to it. Someone else wrote one too, but I forget who -if I remember I'll read yours too! Okay, I'll piss off now. There's more I want to say but I've said enough for one post I suspect! I wonder if you guys will get to actually buy the album tomorrow... I wish you all the best! Promise I'll post again soon (probably with my own take on SW). Ta ta for now, Hels xo P.S I haven't heard 'Anywhere' YET. I'm gonna go and buy the album right now. For the record, I preferred 'Rattlesnakes'. I often put it on repeat, but I was never happy with the sound of it -not the music but the mix of it. It was too soft, or something. I do love 'Real Men' though. It sorta sounds like a missing LE girl. *****oyasumi!***** _________________________________________________________________ Get a speedy connection with MSN Broadband. 'less it was just Operation Peter Pan. SLG & TVAB never had extra tracks on the Japanese pressing (nor did LE or UTP for that matter). > After the absolute aggravation I've read over the > past few weeks with the > Australian release, I decided online shopping is the > way to go. Well I just ordered the "extra special" CD/DVD in box packaging thing from eil.com - ie, the UK version. To be honest, I don't give a *expletive* about the fact the UK version may not come with the 'trinket'/"charm" or whatever. I think I'd rather NOT have it.
