If you consider running a virus scanner on your puter, *don't* choose this shite product. It kept locking things up when I booted up, and I freaked out thinking I'd have to reinstall as Lavs did. Choose pc-cillin or something else instead! That said, if you do install McAfee and have similar probs, don't think it's all gone to shit and you'll have to reinstall Windows -- just boot into Safe Mode and remove the damned program, and all will be well.
