I wasn't aware that singles are still thriving in the UK actually so that is cool news. I agree that major US record companies are to blame for a lot of what will end up being their biggest problems in years to come. The accessibility of music on the internet is just what they deserve for the way they've exploited people who thrive on the music industry.
