For a start you're confusing me using 'muppets' when you're talking about Sesame Street. As far as non-puppet characters go, there's an African American family, a Hispanic family, then there is Hoopers store, which from a little bit I caughter somewhere other than an ep was originally owned by an African American guy before he died (which they delt with on the show). Hoopers is now run by an American Asian guy. Then there's the deaf woman, and a wheelchair bound girl. They're covering more than you're average bases there. A lot of the puppets are monsters, and so being all sorts of colours doesn't seem strange. There are some 'people' puppets too though, and while I can't recall a 'black' regular, you see a blue guy, green woman etc. Prarie Dawn and Elizabeth are the only two puppet 'kids' I can remember off the top of my head. But a lot of the monsters are kids, Oscar and Grover being the only exceptions in my opinion (Telly is a kid, though school aged (say 7 or 8?), as opposed to Elmo (5 1/2 I think he told Rove) and some of the others, who you'll see trying to read etc) Oh, and I forgot to mention in that mail to you Andrew that perhaps the first DS9 ep i watched that stuck in my head had Jadzia dealing with a woman who (argh! mnetal block) Dax' previous host had a daliance with, which did involve a romantic kiss between the two (ie woman and woman). Trills make that sort of thing nice and easy. Sheesh, and I can't believe Noddy and Big Ears haven't been brought into this, especially considering that 'nodbody' typo (or whatever it was). I can kind of see Sanity's point though in a way, if they are speaking in $ - you as a business student of all things should appreciate that! ALTHOUGH yes Sanity is totally shit - I can't say how much I LOATHE being approached by some plastic-smile staff member and asked "can I help you?" or some such other shit when I am merely 'browsing'. Probably Caton, Evans and Chamberlin (ALL kept to a minimum) And a huge fucking orchestra behind Tori. Plus an expanded brass section/brass band for some of the Pele tracks. Then we could have live versions of things like Yes, Anastascia... but also tracks that might not originally have strings/orchestra but could be arranged to have it. I was listening to Tear in Your Hand earlier in the car, and this is one song that would be really good with Orchestral accompaniment. What are some other tracks that would be good with orchestral arrangements, but not neccessarily have any orchestra components in the original? I can't really see many from SLG being there...
