On the topic of gaydar profiles.. I always find it

Yeah indeed. I've never seen anyone put 'large' either, though I'm SURE they
do.
> Gotta love the "rather not say" for Drugs?: response.
And the, as I mentioned to Naff, "rather not say" for the Ethnic Origins
response. I mean, really guys! I think you're giving yourselves away here! I
mean, I understand that someone may not want to put ethnic origins 'cause it
shouldn't bloody matter, but you'd "rather not say" whether or not you
practice safe sex or take drugs?
"err".

So, um, hi everyone.
Thought it was about time I signed up for this thing, particularly after having my spirits lifted this morning by a fairly reliable 'little birdie' who told me we can expect a visit soon from a certain someone (trying not to get my hopes up too much, but at the same time I don't want to miss out on *any* further possible info), and also because of the declining state of @forumz "post-Dent" (I'm guessing no explanations are needed on that one ... ).
Anyhow, I'm not too sure how this list thing works (part of the reason I've been a bit apprehensive about joining before now), but I thought I might as well come and say 'hi'.
I know the welcome email said I should introduce myself, but that felt way too much like the first week of a Philosophy tute, and that's a whole lotta flashbacks I don't need to deal with today.

Fuck, I think I'm gonna have to re-send this in 2
parts, as it exceeds the max. k limit of posts you can
send to this list:
PT 1:
- --------
"Velcum" Julian 2 dis list!
It was once customary for me to insult/scare off any
newbie members, so here goes: I hope the 'P' for your
surname isn't 'Posterino' - if so, you suck! (this
Julian was a guy in q'n at my high school... but he
wasn't exactly the brightest spark either, so assuming
that you're a little smarter than that [hey, you're a
Tori fan!], I asume you are not he).
Now to deal with your introductory e-mail:
> Thought it was about time I signed up for this
> thing, particularly after having my spirits lifted

> who told me we can expect a visit soon from a

lol those forums are CAPABLE of *declining*? We all
thought they were rock-bottom from the beginning.
> Anyhow, I'm not too sure how this list thing works
> (part of the reason I've been a bit apprehensive

OK, here's the 'in a nutshell' version of how this
list works:
- - basically, 'anything goes' here - ie, we mostly tend
to talk about irrelevent, off topic crap;
- - expect lulls occasionally where you get 0 e-mails
somedays, and then floods where you get 45 the next;
- - don't get pissy because approximately 0.2% of posts
are related to Tori;
- - it is the 'in' thing on this list to full on bag
Tori & other list members, so go ahead. Start by
admitting that SLG was crappola.

I'll believe it when I see it. Even with talk of an international tour, even
if I hear from someone who's talked to an Epic rep, even if Tori says it
herself (since things can change), my hope ba.ll.oon has so many holes in

Also, Julian P, you seem to have taken the popular

Are we all just simply mimicking Stacey Q (she of "Two
Of Hearts" and "We Connect" fame, 1986 and 1987
respectively) - who was truly ahead of her time?
And are you the Mr. P mentioned in Tori's "Abbey
Road"?
(there's Tori content 4 U).

What about Suzy Q? of some fame, well I don't actually recall
any of her songs..
Titikaka/caca: I think (looking about the "net" :) that it is
actually quite variable, it is actually spelled both ways. Maybe
this has something to do with the difference between Spanish and
English pronunciations - anyone speak Spanish here? don't all
put your hand up at once class..
in an interesting side note I came across this:
"[the SolarDisc] was returned to Lake Titikaka and placed in the
Eternal Etheric City inside the Lake.
...during the Age of Pachakuti, the sacred Golden Disc is to be
re-activated accessing the cosmic wisdom.
Many of the world's spiritual leaders, as well as indigenous teachers,
acknowledge that the energy of the planet shifted in 1987 from the
masculine energies of Tibet to the feminine energies of Peru, and more
particular, Lake Titicaca, Machu Picchu, and The Sacred Valley of the
Incas.
This area is the acknowledged portal through which the new feminine
energies are entering the Earth. It is power energy - energy of the
Heart. We not only have an opportunity during this time to access the
information from the sacred Golden Disc and to receive the cosmic
energies of Love that are coming in, but many Planetary Light Workers
are feeling called to participate in re-activating the Golden Disc.
The Golden Disc serves as the portal through which these new feminine
energies radiate into the world. When we use our intention to re-active
the Golden Disc, we facilitate these energies coming in stronger.
It is powerful work for Planetary Midwives."
..there must be enough material there for at least two more albums
from Tori ;)
and wasn't Ma-Ti 'Heart' in Captain Planet? wow, I actually learnt
something about Inca beliefs while also being brainwashed :)

Hi everyone,
What a flutter of activity!
lb asked (in relation to bare backing):

*giggle*
Weird thing is - it is considered "cool" these days?!
"No, it's not cool!" - Stan
I did the quiz on WOMEN.COM and *really* how unrealistic is it? There is no
"shag myself senseless" option for the question "How do you relax?"
Turns out I am also Artemis - I am just not happy with my goddess, I was so
trying for Aphrodite!
I was interested to see what MEN.COM would be like - try it! *grin*

Well I will keep my titikaka handle from now on - it seems it already had a
"clever_tori_reference" to it! Come on people - the female energy of the
world?? I was totally spot on in 98 and should never question my own
brilliance!! Although I am still going to use "A Sorta Fairy" because that is
campalicious.

Well, you have a wild side ;) They should have had Hathor. Gotta love a
woman who flashes her vagina to cheer a bloke (Ra) up :)

While Titikaka rang bells (Ab Fab ones obviously), I couldn't help thinking
of Tripitaka every time I read it... Ah Monkey... but yes, cool other angle

The correct title is "Monkey" not "Monkey Magic" ..or you could also
call it
"Journey To The West" *sigh* I shouldn't have to keep correcting

Thanks the lot of you! They did just replay it on the ABC last year (or was
it the year before?), but yes, I remember it from when I was about 8 or so.
Around 84. ABC was very good then, Goodies, Dr Who, Monkey, they even had
Charlie Chaplin!!!

Still due 16th of Oct, and going very well. A happy little kicker (but
things aren't squishy yet, so the kicks aren't painful. The ones in the
bladder are @!#$&^%* :)
Yet to decide on a name, my sis forgot to bring down a heap of books (novels
and stuff) with names in them, so now I'm waiting on her to post those to me
for final additions to the list before Glenn and I really get stuck into
them. We don't know the sex either, and I doubt I'll be having another
ultrasound, so unless I have a prophetic dream or something, we won't be
finding out before the day.
Have quite a bit of sorting out to do in the house, hopefully in the next
couple of weeks, so I can start getting the nursery organised. I've bought
one book already for bubs and am trying to hold off more purchases as I
don't ahve anywhere to put them!!!
Cute moment. The other day Tiarna pushed my jumper up so she could have a
play with my belly, and after a while she lay down on it with arms around me
and said 'I love baby' :) (ooh, and we just got her potty trained, thank
smeg!)
