Okay, from someone who's actually had a labret - DONT DO IT! I kept mine in for about 6 months (and it hurt like a mother fucker when I got it done!) and during that 6 months, it got infected once, which was apparently normal even though I gargled Listerine after everything I ate and was sooooo clean. Also, the back of the labret, although flat, rubs constantly on your gums and even though you don't really pay much attention to it b/c you can't feel it, it eventually causes some of the gum to rot (i think it's the constant contact with the metal?) and it's super bad for the spot where your teeth meet the gum. Of course, if any or all of that appeals to you, by all means, go and do it. - -------------------------------------------------------------------- mail2web - Check your email from the web at http://mail2web.com/ . ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 Jun 2002 09:46:19 +1000 From: "Bindy ." I can think of other members who are much more mysterious than our Nayth. I'd love to know what goop is infesting the boy's head thinking up variations of his name, mock articles and all the useless information stored there. Maybe noodles ARE the goop. Bewildering and partially fake is my analysis. He's a loud obnoxious individual in the safeguards of a computer, but I bet he's a quite spoken shy thing in RL. I can't scrutinise the poor Nayth-man too much, else face incriminating myself in the process.
