I liked American Gods. That book is bloody brilliant (and bloody long) but well worth it. And Andrew, hurry up and finish Stardust, it too is bloody good. IIRC correctly, that book had me in tears at some point. A very good short- ish story. And the other book I've read by Gaiman was Good Omens, co-written with Pratchett, and it is one of the best books I have ever read. It is so hilarious. A fucked-up exchange is more interesting... but then a reciprocal exchange is more likely to force people to definitely send the promised portable media storage item. I wish I could summons up an ounce of caring either way, but... nup! No good! ;P Fer the people who are requesting particular stuff on their cassette/CD/MD/whatever - -- I'd prefer to be surprised. Similarly, the unfortunate soul who lands me will be getting whatever music feels 'right' to me at the time that I sit down to make the CD. As for the who-would-you-spend-24-hours-with question that I've thus far been avoiding, nobody would WANT to spend 24 hours with me at the moment.
