Good point. Also Lavs, do *not* call your kid a name beginning with 'R'. It'll only cause him grief if he grows up not being able to pronounce r correctly (I've seen this). Stay clear of names beginning with 's' and 'th' also. Speaking of Bold and the Beautiful... Does anyone else here think Sally Spectra is a drag queen? Maybe, but I thought all the 40-something 'moms' who normally buy Celine (read: mid 90's TT FM [crappy VIC radio station now known as 'Mix FM'] 'crowd') suddenly woke up and realised that she's not "cool" (*cough.. not that she ever was) anymore. Just like the John Farnham, Michael Bolton, Mariah Carey & Tina Arena 'backlash' - I thought they finally realised she was shite. > more to the point, the sad reality is that celine > dion has been consistently > the bets sleling artsist in australia for a good 5 > years now... she has a > huge fan base who like all her smalzty crap. whilst > this album (like the > last couple) will probably not do as well as "the > colour of my love" or > "falling into you", i will no doubt sell millions > weorld wide and go at > least double platinum here. That "That's The Way It Is" song of hers was freaking *awful*! I had this conversation with a friend not so long ago that the kind of people who buy Celine's albums are the kind who buy maybe 1-2 CD's a year... or pop by a record store once or twice a year (probably K-Mart), and see that Celine's got a new album out, and just buy it because it's her and they 'know' she's "good"/they've got her older albums and just keep buying the same. Or just because it's the 'done thing' amongst the middle-aged dinner-party types. > it is middle aged people who listen to mix 106.5 (or > worse) etc that are > buying her album... YES!
