Seriously!?! I think I only just threw out (when I threw out my collection of song lyrics) an interview with Phil Collins from Smash Hits (that had obviously originally appeared in the British version) with really funny captions for the photos, and they had one in his studio and they used 'Sussudio' in it (I also loved the 'wooden you a-tree, baby you and me got a groovy kind of love' for a shot of him in the garden) I think it was that interview where they discussed where the title for his 'But seriously' album had come from. IIRC, he said that they'd had a box where anyone who visisted the house could put in suggestions for the title, and there were things like 'Not another one', 'Not him again' etc. So after reading silly ones like that, I guess 'But seriously' was rather logical. (You can see the album's cover to the right.) This cover of SATY is sung in English, and so the lyrics are the same as the original. April 2002 Update: Sun's cover of "Silent All These Years" is burning up the charts in Singapore! Toriphile Mark tells me that the cover was #1 on Singapore top ten chart for two weeks in a row before it dropped to #6. (I am not sure of the exact name of the chart or the exact weeks it was #1.). The song is getting a ton of airplay on mainstream radio in Singapore. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 19 Apr 2002 21:15:10 +1000 From: Daniel G Subject: Re: [oztori] Lavs lil bun in da oven >Have to suss out Kadiatu. Because of this Kadiatu is related to the Brigadier as Kadiatu's father Yembe was an Ubersoldaten. Yembe rescued her from the Imogen laboratory in Leipzig. Though I think it may well have been in Number One, Lavs - a) Phil's prolly a bit 'old' to be in Smash Hits, and b) only the poms would have enough humour in them to make those captions. And Lavs.. call your daughter 'Hurricane'! Siobhan Fahey and Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) called their first son 'Samuel Joseph Hurricane' - how cool is that?! Nathan. . Yahoo!
