Thirty-eight year old Amos has been known up until the present time as an advocate for women's rights, and for helping to set up RAINN - a national network aimed at helping victims of sexual abuse. It comes as some surprise then, that she has agreed to make such a collection of pictures. When asked of her motives behind releasing the book, Amos explains: "When I recorded 'Under the Pink', I made the comment that I didn't want to keep revealing myself as I had done for my debut [Little Earthquakes]... and that I was going to 'put some clothes on', metaphoricaly speaking. Well, I think it's time that the clothes came *off*. I've already bared my soul in my records - now it's time to bare my ass!" Carrot-topped (though dyed) Amos has answered the age-old question that many of her fans have wanted-to-know-but-have-been-too-afraid-to-ask by publishing this book: 'Are Tori's pubes ginger?' The book also features several racy shots of Amos performing lewd and unusual sexual acts including: dry-humping a piano stool, simulating fellatio on a microphone and an Evian water bottle, beastiality (having a piglet suckle her bare breast), indulging in skin-tight plastic-snake-skin pants fetishism (similar to the sleeve of her Y Kant Tori Read release), a picture of Amos shaving her nether-regions with the caption 'I shaved every place where you been, boy'; and a photo of a nude Amos taking out the garbage with the caption, 'Been saved again by the garbage truck, I got something to say you know but nothing cums'. The book also contains snaps of Amos having group-sex with the 2 girls and the priest from her Past the Mission video (caption: 'So you can make me cum that doesn't make you Jesus'); and depicts her dressed as a man making best friend Nancy Shanks' (Beenie) raspberry swirl. Critics have slammed Amos for releasing the book, stating that 'one Madonna is already more than enough'. Amos bites back, "I've never heard of Madonna, who is she anyway?" "When I wrote 'Boys for Pele'," continues Amos licking her lips, "I explained that Pele was the Hawaiian volcano goddess. Well, I too am like a volcano, in that I'm fucking great at blowing. I really wanted to illustrate that by releasing this book. When I sang 'Ode to the Banana King', I wasn't referring to an elongated fruit, baby!" Amos is set to release a double-CD of new music to coincide with the release of the 'Sects' book. The first CD of the set is titled "Penis: Orgasmicing", and the second disc is titled "Penis Live: Still Orgasmicing". The disc shall also see the long-awaited release of vault tracks "The Underwear Is Black", "Rub Down", "Skirts On Fire", and "Predator". Tori will be going on tour to support the book & album's release. The tour is to be called "Buttplugged '98". The album will be available from 'Sectember'. ======================================================= Yahoo!
