And yesterday I was in the mall and in a CD store and bought both Hands Clean singles (i could fork out the $10 to buy both singles but not the $20 to get the album :P) and am just wondering if I really should buy it? Is it comparable to any of the b-sides on the singles, cos some of them are *cough* shocking *cough*. OK I came up with these q'ns: 1. Tori recorded SLuG because: a) she wanted to get out of her contract with Atlantic. b) Atlantic wanted to get out of their contract with her. c) She wanted a convenient excuse to dress up as the 'Real Men' chick to test the waters before officially declaring her raging lesbianity ;) d) she wanted to decimate her fan-base e) all of the above 2. Little Earthquakes is the best album of 1991: a) True b) False c) aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh it was out in 1992 duh! d) No, Melissa's "Fresh" was e) Wrong again - Melissa's "Fresh" was out in 1992 as well 3. Tori is sane: a) False b) Definitely not c) NO! d) Pass e) Next question 4. Tori is a slut: a) True b) False c) She's been everybody else's girl 5. Tori is a lesbian: a) True b) False c) Everybody knows I'm her man d) Brothers and lovers she and I were e) Give me a London Girl every time 6. Artistically, the singer most like Tori is: a) Kate Bush b) Bjork c) Mariah Carey - both are nuts and have songs called 'Butterfly', 'Honey' and 'Bliss'. Both have slept their way around with producers/muso's. d) Celine Dion - they both do lots of bad covers and sappy pop tunes (1000 Oceans), and took time off to have a baby. e) Britney Spears - lip gloss, dyed hair, lots of "oh baby babies" on their debut albums (YKTR), first singles released when they were aged 17 (Baltimore), famous boyfriends (Trent Reznor), dogdy covers. 7. Tori's career is over: a) True b) False c) What career? d) Hasn't it been over since the Peabody conservatorium expelled her? e) Who is Tori Amos? 8. Y Kant Tori Read? a) She's dyslexic b) She's gone blind from all that pre-teen masturbation c) Who knows, who cares 9. Tori's best song is a) Sister Named Desire b) The Happy Worker c) Agent Orange d) Finn (intro) e) the gap of silience between 'Putting the Damage On' and 'Twinkle' 10. Tori won't tour Australia because: a) She refuses to be seen on the same continent as Richard Kingsmill b) She doesn't want to go "Way Down" under again because she thinks she dealt with that enough on BFP. c) She doesn't want to face former members of her fanbase demanding that she says "Sorry" for recording SLuG. d) She doesn't want to run into Mrs Crocodile, or Paul Hogan for that matter. e) She's worried the dingo might get Natashya.
