Friday: Saturday: The Bill Sunday: Dr Who, Futurama, The Simpsons [all Foxtel] Also, The Simpsons and Frasier are on pretty much every day on Foxtel, so I catch them if i'm in the mood or not doing anything. I don't religiously watch Buffy or Angel on Foxtel either, because its repeats (season 5 buffy, season 1 angel). Of course I try and watch these programs as much as possible - but due to the times miss them more often that I see them. (Over the holidays I could watch them). Andrew P.S. Just went and saw Kate and Leopold - better than your average 'light romantic comedy' the time twist is a good twist. I really quite enjoyed the movie - It's a movie that leaves you feeling good after it - and you've got to have them every now and then. I was an angel for the Christmas thing when I was in grade one. I remember the dental clinic visited and I had an appointment for the middle of a practice session, and the nurse got mad at me for brushing and brushing til toothpastey muck was dribbling down my chin (she didn't tell me where to spit). I came back with ink all over my face from a smiley-face stamp that was on my hand, cuz I'd been using the back of my hand to wipe away the tears when that bitch made me cry. Then one Queensland Day I was a pioneer woman in a little apron and bonnet, though my brother got the cooler costume as a miner in a black hat and flanno with a pan full of gold spray-painted rocks. Those rocks were tres cool and I was rather jealous. Oh, and I was butter in the line-up for our class presentation that Queensland Day. My class had to do a thing about stuff that Queensland was famous for. Just thinking about that now, what the fuck has butter got to do with Queensland? I just don't think she's actually pulled it off on any more than a few of the songs, that's all. Maybe I'm just being obtuse, but some of the songs she's chosen don't strike me as particularly needing to be told from a "female perspective".
