You just got to get you mind out of the gutter! And Wilson Phillips worked better as a trio. Chynna never should have gone solo! The trio were tacky enough. "Hold On" was kinda sweet, in the sickly sense of the term. ~Bindy _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 01 Mar 2002 09:25:03 +1000 From: "Double Serpent" Subject: Re: [oztori] Completely OT - Restaurants Nina "I vant to suck your blood ooh ah ah ah" Riddel said >>Loved it. My black trechy and Coasters don't gel real well. ~Bindy _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 01 Mar 2002 09:43:51 +1000 From: "Double Serpent" Subject: [oztori] Lani makes me spew & Talula's got the groove Am I a minority that can't STAND Alanis? Tori's "I got big bird on the fishing line" funky section of Talula gets me groovin' everytime. ~Bindy _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 01 Mar 2002 11:16:30 +1100 From: Jonceski Jasmina Subject: Re: [oztori] Lani makes me spew & Talula's got the groove Firstly, pointless banter from me - I have an obsession with the song "grey" by ani d. I like Jagged Little Pill (i just have to skip some songs..most songs...) but Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie is just total crap IMHO. I listened to it last night (just to give it another go) and just find it boring. And her vocals get annoying. There are probably some decent songs on there I just can't think what they might be right now. "Thank You" was a crappy song, IMHO, I did like "Uninvited" tho but that's not really on the album. I do like "Hands Clean" - well what I have heard of it (haven't heard it too often). I'd like to get the new album but I don't see that happening any time soon for me...i need a proper form of income. B>Tori's "I got big bird on the fishing line" funky section of Talula B>gets me groovin' everytime. Talula is so a skip worthy song for me from BFP lately, I just can't listen to it. jas ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 1 Mar 2002 11:09:17 +1000 From: Becc Subject: Re: [oztori] Lani makes me spew & Talula's got the groove On 1/03/2002, at 9:43 AM, Double wrote: DS> Am I a minority that can't STAND Alanis? I actually liked her first album, but in 1996 I was an angsty teenager. Now I'm an angsty _adult_, Alanis just doesn't work any more. ;) 'specially since she got all happy and spiritual. *choke* 'Uninvited' is the one song of hers I like for what it is. I haven't listened to Jagged Little Pill since, oh, 1996, but I'd imagine I could probably like it for nostalgia's sake. ~Becc. :) - -- www.crappism.org/blog ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 28 Feb 2002 21:37:07 -0800 (PST) From: Nathan R Subject: Re: [oztori] OT: Naked and Sacred (anyone remember the Chynna Phillips song? lol) Double Serpent wrote: > And Wilson Phillips worked better as a trio. 'Naked and Sacred' and 'I Live For You' were top bits of pop fluff. Wilson Phillips, OTOH (on the other hand.. suprised there isn't already an established net abbreviation for this) were dreary by comparison. Although yeah "Hold On" was okay (though I hated it at the time, I can now look back on it fondly), as was "You Won't See Me Cry". But Wilson Phillips is a pretty dumb name for a 'band' (well, group)... almost as bad as Y Kant Tori Read ;) And that my friends was all the Tori content you're getting in this e-mail. Nathan. . Sometimes I like Talula.. sometimes I hate "her" (to use cringe-worthy 'oh-I-am-so-Tori's-biggest-fan-so-I'm-going-to-be-a- dick-and-call-her-songs-"girls"-and-refer-to-them-as- "her"-just-like-Tori-duz-by-the-way-like-my-faerie- wings?' I remember around 1996-97 when all you had to do was tune in to any FM station and you could hear half of Jagged Little Pill within the space of an hour. Nathan. . Yahoo!
