I mean WHAT!?! i used to get "Racheal" all the time... ive *never* know any Rachael/Rachel/Racheal having their name spelt like that. That seemed to happen more in Australia though, doesnt really happen here, most people seem to spell it "Rachael" without me having to tell them to add the A. Saying that however, it will probably happen on Monday. This woman at work calls me "Rebecca" all day, on friday she goes "its not rebecca is it?" and i corrected her, then 20 minutes later she was calling me Rebecca again! That seems to happen a lot, theyre not even really similar names! I used to get "Christ" instead of "Chrisp" a lot too. maybe i need speech therapy from Nathan or something, because it often happens when i give my name over the phone or in conversation. rachael xxx ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 2 Feb 2002 22:04:51 -0000 From: "Rachael Chrisp" Subject: [oztori] Re: Illegal Immigrants > I mant bombardment with bombs? well, the IRA is quite big on bombs here. there was one in Manchester City Centre about 6 years ago that destroyed a big chunk of a shopping complex. Well, better than being called "Lisa" over the phone, or having someone spell your common-as-muck name as "Natham" as one of my lecturers did on an assignment feedback form. Nayf. npimm (now playing in my mind): "Manic Monday" - Bangles. Gawd knows why. "Wish it was Sunday".. lol it IS though! But as tragic as that is I am not sure that it classifies as bombardment. As far as I am aware, and I may be wrong, there are few people fleeing from England due to the constant threat of being bombed, killed, maimed, etc., and fewer still living under a truly despotic regime. On to a far warmer topic, I should like very much to see the photos from the tori gatherings, so if anyone could send them to me individually I'd be thrilled. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rachael Chrisp" To: Sent: Sunday, February 03, 2002 8:34 AM Subject: [oztori] Re: Illegal Immigrants > > I mant bombardment with bombs? > > well, the IRA is quite big on bombs here. there was one in Manchester City > Centre about 6 years ago that destroyed a big chunk of a shopping complex. > One about half an hour away in Warrington that killed a couple of kids a few > years ago.
