ohhh that was a great poll!  it was in 1995, i was in year 7 at the time...

number 1 was Nine Inch Nails' "Closer", and Chris Issak's "Wicked Game" was
number 2 (what a cool song that is).

personally, i think Tool's "Lateralus" album and NiN's "The Fragile (Right)"
are the best bonking cds....

Re all the Dead Can Dance/Cocteau Twins talk, can someone tell me about This 
Mortal Coil? 'Cause it seems that they're a combination of those 2 bands. I 
have It'll End In Tears and, as well as the Lost Highway-featured Song for 
the Siren, i *love* track 7 - I think it's called Another Day? Gorgeous.
