I have no idea what this could be." Does anyone know what this is/could be? Renee, can you find out? On CDNow theres no info other than a price (US$31.49) which makes me think its probably Japanese...any thoughts? I'm thinking its a bonus disc with "The Underwear Is Black", "Car Full Of Boys", "Learn to Fly", "Snow Cherries from France", "To The Fair Motorcycle Maids of Japan", "Zero Point" and, amazingly, a cover of Cher's "But I'm Experienced Babe". Also a live studio recording of Madonna's "Like A Virgin". (okay yes I'm just kidding). Seriously? I went to oztori.org and it >>looked the same as it has since last August! DG> I updated it last night...if it still shows August after hitting reload a DG> few times...I dunno whats wrong, but something is hahaha. that'll be because between you and other webpages there is your isp's proxy server. to simplify, the proxy server stores all the webpages you request, in case you or another customer at your isp requests the same page, thus making it cheaper for your isp (not having to re-request the same document, less network traffic, blah) .. the downside of this is that when an update is made, it takes a while for your proxy server to make its cached copy "stale" and go looking for another. while it depends on how your isp is set up, most of the time it will take no longer than 48 hours (in most cases, less) for the proxy server to check that its copy is still the same as the copy on the original website. for internet explorer users, i *think* that if you hold down the shift key (or is it the ctrl key) while clicking the refresh button, it will force a reload of the page from the original website rather than the proxy. sorry if i haven't explained this properly, and a good night to you all, zac ================================================== zac ariel - web junkie m: 0414 229 299 e: zac@comcen.com.au w: www.level21.net ================================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 3 Jan 2002 13:52:06 EST From: Mysterilady2001@cs.com Subject: Re: [oztori] [ozLADY!} Dan Dan Dan...
