But how people can profess to "get" Tori's music when they've screwed the lyrics up so that they no longer *mean* what they should.... that's beyond me. ~Becc. :) - -- witnessed: www.barbaric-yawp.com/journal ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 25 Nov 2001 12:23:11 +1100 From: Daniel G Subject: Re: [oztori] sarah again/still (ot) >which Building a Mystery version do you have? mine has >a Soft Drum Mix of Angel on it which is utterly >orgasmic. i have a feeling it's the rarer version of >the single tho.... it also has Possession and Adia (?) >on it. Re: the Audio system... first things first - - I've gotta convince the "old man" to get the DVD player first! ;) These things take time in my house-hold. FIRST I really wanna get a new computer. This thing I'm typing on is from 1996! So another question to everyone is... what are the things to look for in a new computer. I definately want to do more graphics work... and I want to burn my cds... and maybe down the track able to do some music stuff - i.e. plug in a keyboard. I also am thinking down the line (not straight away - to get a vid-cap card). I want to have a good video card on the 'puter already. For all I know I'm getting this all mixed up. But I need to get a good idea - and I don't know where to start. I'd go a computer that was at least a step ahead of the norm - to get a bit more value out of it. But not too expensive so I can sell the idea to - again - "the old man" - so he doesn't refuse out of hand. These "negotiations" are always a delicate operation! ;o) And I'm pretty sure I've heard... "AVOID HARVEY NORMAN"... no? >** - the dvd audio spec is *not* the same as the audio specs that are a part of >the dvd movie spec. the dvd movie audio spec is (i think) 24 bit at 96 KHz, >whereas the dvd audio spec is 24 bit at 192KHz. yum. Is that cause there is just music on the dvd audio? ok what is 'spec'!?! ;) Thanks again And-rew-ly-rew-ly-cool ;o) ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 25 Nov 2001 13:08:18 +1000 From: AndrewR Subject: Re: [oztori] Johnnyyoungest?!
