I can only assume that you're going to be putting a nice package of
goodies etc together and giving it/sending it to Tori, as any previous
mentions of this have been lost in amongst the copious amounts of

A couple of thoughts here. Firstly, for the love of God, don't call
her "tozza" - that has to be the stupidest name I've heard. It looks
and sounds retarded. (back me up here people, I know some of you
agree!)

Secondly, I hope you have something in mind for the cash. Somehow
giving Tori money wouldn't get the kind of appreciation I think you're
aiming for. Hopefully my assumption that this is what you've got in

Hmmmm, I have mixed feelings about Festy hall... one it's a good small size
venue but on the other hand it's such a fekking stink-hole... It's a good
site though... maybe they could knock it down and build a decent mid-sized
venue!?! ;o) Or maybe just Do the place up!?! If they knock it down were

first off: don't consider - GET!!! you will be
absolutely astounded. 

i reccomend ESCM as your first buy, although Movement
in Still Life is easier to find and has a bonus disc,
so you may like to get that. ESCM is, on the whole,
less dance-oriented, and is most BT-fans' favorite CD.

Since I sort of started this New Age lyrics bizzo, I thought I should add a further
comment to it...

It seems pretty conclusive to me that Tori sings "sick little fucks", given
what some guy (apologies, I can't read the digest from this particular Inbox
and I can't remember said guy's name) stated about the Taiwanese lyrics and
the meet & greet comment. But personally I am sticking with my original interpretation
"slick little fox" because that's what I want to hear, and I damn well like
it that way. :) 

(I'm not sure if everyone is aware that "fox" is an Americanism for an attractive
girl, as in "check out that fox over there"... I suppose a derivative from "foxy"
as in "Foxy Lady" or, for that matter, "and I know she's not that foxy"...)


(And another thing: just how reliable are Taiwanese lyrics anyway? We're talking
about the same country that interpreted "Monday morning, eighteen years of dawning"
as "Monday morning knitting ears of gold" after all...)

OK, OK, now I'm getting anal & it is entirely the wrong time & place for that
sort of thing...

one in hornsby (syd's north) i got 12 albums including catatonia and jill 
sobule for $2.50 each :)

thats my summer holiday project covered then :)

She does *NOT* and I repeat *NOT* slip an 'l' sound in
there after the 's'!  (although admittedly enunciation
of lyrics has never been Tori's forte', so she could
have actually *meant* to include one, but just didn't
;)

Are you left-handed by any chance? ;)  You see, I had
a leftie friend who was totally *hopeless* at
deciphering song-lyrics.. and I have this little
theory that perhaps lefties are not so great at
deciphering song lyrics... and am considering doing my
PhD in this topic (j/k).

doesn't seem too 'ultra-feminist' to me.  In fact, it
seems quite.. dependent.

Then the tune was also not written by Belinda... tsk
tsk.. and was written by Rick Knowles or someone
instead (plus I remember they got sued for ripping off
Bon Jovi's "You Give Love A Bad Name")... doesn't
quite reek of 'girl power' to me.

Why do you assume they're necessarily singing about a
male? ;)

Secondly, I think the lyrics could be interpreted as
being depended on another - ie, "I'll die if you don't
stay with me".
