I am another unlucky bastard who missed the Tori boat by about 2 months. It
was around the end of 1994 that I was lent LE by a friend - I was
enthralled from the first note. I ended up getting the double LE/UTP and
played the two albums over the 1994/1995 holidays everyday and everynight
can still picture the dead hot nights playing them. I believe Tori played
Brisbane on the 3rd of December? My birthday... *sigh* would have been a
GREAT birthday present! Another missed concert would have been the year
before when I believe the Smashing Pumpkins played Brisbane on the 3rd of
December - I might be mistaken on both accounts - but they were another
band that I was like 2 months off kilter with. Bjork as well - I missed her
concert when she came here in 1995 or was it 1996!?!
