"once upon a time, long befor you were born, mummy went to a place far, far away, called oz. The people there were mush like any other people, but disadvantaged by where they were in the world. Rumours that they were atrnage little girls (and boys)were only partly true, and many of them were mummy's good friends, even if they were a lot further away than birmingham. It took mummy a long time to get there, but it was worth it just to see the people who had loved her so long and stuck with her, despite not getting the chance to buy some of her songs. When mummy sand they cheered very loudly, and one nice lady said very loudy "play tear in yer hand... plooooooise!!!". Alkthough the people of oz sometimes spoke differently, they were very good to mummy and even let her sing on their special tv show for teh best singers in oz land. When mummy went to this magical land, the people were very happy. Although they often bought her msuic, she particlualrly sold a lot of copies of under teh pink, because she gave the people of oz a special album they could buy with it. this special album had some of teh songs that they were not able to get before. this made some people from other lands very jealous, but the people in oz trhought this was pretty fucking rich since they couldn't 'collect bees(sides)' and, unlike people from other lands didn't get any further visits from mummy at all. although they still loved mummy, the people of oz were very sad that she did not visit them anymore. although they knew that teh poor value of their currency meant that mummy would have trouble coming here, they also knew that they were willing to pay very high prices for their tickets. but still mummy did not "drop in". many of the oz people went to other countries to see her and told her of teh plight of their people, but she did not come. and then when tash was born - thats you! - she said she could not come beacsue you would not be able to travel so far. but still the oz people dreamed. and they knew that tash loved them and would want to see them with mummy. and they knew she was a brave girl and would tell mummy to go to oz. and they waited... hoping and wishing." anyway, anyone got any more ideas for it? can anyone draw? _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 4 Nov 2001 21:49:24 +1100 From: "Jasmina J" Subject: Re: [oztori] 97 BONNIE AND CLYDE.... I'm looking to set up a mailing list and I do like the set-up of this one (not attached to some big shitty company that makes you obtain membership before you can join a list, then spams you forevermore, and so on). On visiting the smoe.org site, though, I was left uncertain as to whether or not they're even offering their services to random plebs such as myself. Could someone tell me how oztori@smoe.org came about, or even offer me any other suggestions on mailing list places that aren't a big hassle? Thankye! ~Becc :) - -- witnessed: www.barbaric-yawp.com/journal ------------------------------ End of oztori-digest V1 #233 ****************************
