I did it from a different email address so obviously that's why it didn't come through. Ok I think it is safe to say that a tree is not going to work within this list. I have only had one reply in my request for branches, it just isn't going to work. and the attitude of Dan saying some people will want the discs no matter how they're copied just proves that this isn't the place for a tree. He needs to go get some knowledge from trade pages before he tries to make a point again. If I had the burning time I would happily make 20 copies of one show for everyone, but I just don't. I will keep offering b&p's often though most likely, that way the music is spreading a little and I'm glad that other people will get to hear these recordings because I really enjoy them and they should be heard. next week or so I will hopefully offer another 5 b&p places for 09/29/01, which I am just starting to listen to, and its wonderful I must say. once again though, if you have a high speed connection I can't possibly higher recommend www.torilive.org if you have a great connection and aren't sure how to download from FTP's and all that there are instructions on the page and if you have more trouble then I am happy to reply to any help questions, if I know the answers. apparently, the plan is to put EVERY possible show of this SLG tour up on the TOMB at some point, which works out to roughly a new show available for download every week until October 2002! and to save another mail, dan h I mailed your 09/28/01 this arvo;o) xo Gav! np: Snout - Managing Good Looks > > plus i think, to a point, it defeats the purpose of having one tree > that does care about quality if the other tree doesn't care.. > > half of what gav is trying to ensure that when people copy to OTHER > people outside of oztori, that their quality of the recording will be > as good as the original. > > introducing the notion of high quality recordings to people that don't > particularly care is a complete waste of time i have found in my > experience, i am surprised gav even brought up the idea of a tree in > the first place.... :) > > and to demonstrate my point i'll quote one of my 'favourite' oztori > members... without naming names...
