Just a quick note to say that the Dido concert was *great*. Like her or not, you would have been simply blown away by the performance. I sure as hell know I was!! Fave songs from the concert - both newies she played, Slide, Take My Hand, Isobel, Hunter.... oh the list goes on!! Her songs were ten times better live I reckon, having them mixed etc. We were almost right on the stage at the front! Great possie : - ) Anyhow, I'm all wet from trancing about the city in the rain clubhopping.... *shiver* Any other thoughts on the concert? ~Andrew~ ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 14 Oct 2001 06:46:42 +0800 From: "ennui" Subject: RE: [oztori] Didolicious >Just a quick note to say that the Dido concert was *great*. Like her or not, >you would have been simply blown away by the performance. no. I don't think I would have ;) Just a short call to arms. The first release of OzTori Members Details Online (OTMDO) is up and I need some test subjects to populate the program with some data. If you want to see what the hell I'm talking about try the URL: http://barchester.home.dhs.org and you can try the search page or login to the 'Update My Details' section using a test account: username: test1@test.com password: test1 test2@test.com test2 test3@test.com test3 Anyway, if you've got a few minutes free this morning and you think entering junk into your browser and having junk spat out on my cgi account is an interesting way to spend a Sunday; send me an email with the email address you'd like as your username (best if this is the account you most use to post to oztori as this will allow other people to identify you more easily in the search engine) and the password you would like. For those who are a bit paranoid the password security is pretty good but not great - all passwords will be one-way encrypted on the server and I won't have a plain text copy after I delete your email / if I delete your email (Outlook just this week hit 11111 items in the inbox :) So, if you would like to be the first intrepid sailors upon the good ship 'B211 Internet Computing Assignment 2' - drop me a line. Oh and if King Gee is still awake after all that technical stuff: I have just this moment discovered that the oztori.org hosting also provides five email addresses (ie: webmaster@oztori.org). So, tell me what you'd like the addresses named and I can set the redirection so that it goes to the email address you use for all your oztori stuff. I think that's all - hopefully there's about 15 people doing nothing this morning or I'm going to have to enter a set of test data by hand..... (.) (Oh, and yes I will add a 'search for name' - it's on the list, and should be up by this evening.) Doesn't RANIN stand for Rape, Abuse, National Incest Network???? Isn't the fact that Tori was abused in anyway justification enough in that respect? Why does someone need to be PENETRATED to be raped... isn't rape about control anyway? Theoretically can't someone rape you by e-mail? I can identify with these sentiments and more and I'm not even thinking about penises (although I am male, and gay, so naturally NOW I AM!!)
