Woohoo! I ended up getting/picking up my pre-ordered copy of StrangeLittleGirls. I got the "Sheriff" cover. They gave me a poster too!!!!! It was of the "Jackie's Strength/Jemma" picture - black and white with lime green edges. I also picked up a copy of Mirrorball - by Sarah McLachlan - I never ended up getting the double Surfacing/Mirrorball - so It was great to find this. It was only $18! (compared to $33.00 elsewhere!) THEN I was shopping today and my eye was caught by a big Tori poster (the Sheriff version with the lime green edges). I went in asking if they had anymore posters, and she said 'no' sorry. Then I was taking another squiz around and spotted a poster towards the ground under all the chart CDs... It was a long '4 picture' promo poster for SLG!!!!!!!!!!! I ran back to the girl and asked her and she said, yeah just take it! Woohoo!!!!!!!! She even gave me a rubber band! LOL! For being so nice, I bought Echolalia by Something For Kate - which I was always intending to get - and found it there for the cheapest price ANYWHERE (new). It was $21.95! I wish all new CDs were that price. The place I got SLG was a cheaper-than-usual store - it was only $26.00. I think $30+ is just rediculous - but sometimes you just can't avoid paying that price, which sucks. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 29 Sep 2001 21:17:05 +1000 From: "Jasmina" Subject: [oztori] Net 50 Strange Little Girl was number 9 on the net50 tonight, come on folks, we can get it to number 1!!!! ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 29 Sep 2001 22:07:47 +1000 From: Kate Findlay Subject: Re: [oztori] I got Tori >I ended up getting/picking up my pre-ordered copy of Strange >Something For Kate - which I was always intending to get - and found it >there for the cheapest price ANYWHERE (new). It was $21.95! I wish all new >CDs were that price. it should be that price everywhere - it's a campaign Sony are doing for the album. It's been $21.95 for about a month and a half now. Started out at full price, then dropped to 24.95 then to 21.95 so if any store is selling it at a higher price they are ripping you off!
