Oh well, maybe I'll just let you guys do it yourself! How to make a Prozac McFlurry! 1. Go to your doctor and complain about depression that's been lasting for several months and ask for a prescription to antidepressants. 2. Make sure you have a valid health care card (if eligible) which entitles you to cheap prescription medications. 3. Go to the chemist and get your drugs for the low-low price of just $3.50 per month (or even cheaper with imitation brands). 4. Go to the supermarket and by a bucket of no-name icecream (lets face it, this is better quality stuff than what you get at McDonalds). 5. Let the icecream melt a bit until it becomes a bit mushy 6. Empty icecream into a blender and add the pills (or use a hand blender). 7. Mix until the pills are evenly distributed amongst the icecream 8. Pour the mix back into the icecream container or into individual servings and store in the freezer. 9. Your Prozac McFlurry is ready for a boost whenever you feel like a pick-me-up! > So Dan S and Andrew R are on prescription > medication! Who else? Puts hand up. On the topic of '97 Bonnie and Clyde: Well when I heard it I just assumed it was this "toy" (yeah right.. "toy knives don't kill people.. real knives don't kill people.. people kill people - or perhaps more to the point Eminem's personalities kill people") knife that did it. It really looks like this will be my last email to oztori for a very long time indeed. I'm going to be away for two weeks or there abouts on holidays, and then I'm moving.. and won't have net access. And the thing I'm going to miss the most are the Siobhan quotes.. (Er I shouldn't have said that, perhaps Nathan will point to the availability of the 2002 Siobhan Quote Calendar - a new quote everyday!). So give me peace, love and a cable modem JB P.S. I watched the American Tribute concert last night for the third time on a third Australian free-to-air channel. Interestingly enough the outcome doesn't ever change. It still ends with Willie Nelson and Mariah Carey thought over who can hog the spotlight the most. ;) Why they got a Canadian to sing God Bless America is still somewhat beyond me.. and the dixie chicks - shame on them! They were lip-syncing. Actually they were "song" syncing. I don't think they played/sang a single thing live on their song. Mind you after hearing their contribution to the final song, perhaps that was for the best. I really liked Sheryl Crow's song though, but I'm biased that way. __________________________________________________________________ Get your free Australian email account at http://www.start.com.au ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 23 Sep 2001 23:51:03 +0100 (BST) From: =?iso-8859-1?q?Daniel?= Subject: Re: [oztori] #OzTori Chat Channel oh f*ck not again...can't we just terminate him for good? can you contact oz.org official people and explain the situation how he's done this before and he isn't welcome in the community and get him banned from oz.org? - --- Dan wrote: > I just logged onto the chat channel, and Steve > Horan, aka Wuffy (whiffy) has > taken it upon himself to enter the channel and deop > himself. > > That means noone gets ops until he leaves, and as > far as I can remember, he > works for an ISP and has a permanent connection... > so he can sit in there as > long as he likes. > > Any suggestions? ===== Get your free @yahoo.co.uk address at http://mail.yahoo.co.uk or your free @yahoo.ie address at http://mail.yahoo.ie ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 24 Sep 2001 00:00:30 +0100 (BST) From: =?iso-8859-1?q?Daniel?= Subject: RE: [oztori] #OzTori Chat Channel why don't we all gang up on him tonight @ 8pm? we can all go in, completely abuse him, and then all stick him on ignore and continue with him there, but not. - --- "Rachael..." wrote: > if anyone is online at the moment, fancy coming into > the chan and backing me > and jas up? > > hes acting all high and mighty, (steven horan) > something has to be done > about this.... > > rachael ===== Get your free @yahoo.co.uk address at http://mail.yahoo.co.uk or your free @yahoo.ie address at http://mail.yahoo.ie ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 24 Sep 2001 00:02:52 +0100 (BST) From: =?iso-8859-1?q?Daniel?= Subject: [oztori] IRC okay i'm in #oztori on oz.org now (its 9am) and because I have cable modem i can leave it open all day, and i'm the only one in there so mr bitchface horan (childish? me?) can't get a @ can he? then, come this evening, we'll all be okay. yay! xoxo Dan ;) (scarydan in irc) ===== Get your free @yahoo.co.uk address at http://mail.yahoo.co.uk or your free @yahoo.ie address at http://mail.yahoo.ie ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 23 Sep 2001 16:19:34 -0700 From: "Hill, Renee" Subject: [oztori] Christ! Hey-hey, Fuck, I almost forgot the drama of not reading emails over the weekend, and then getting in early Monday morning only to have 187 unread emails in my poor little inbox! I think it's in shock at the moment, but I'm still happy... I didn't see Letterman, but then again I had a blinder of a weekend anyway even with seeing Tozz on Letterman, so I'm not too upset. I downloaded the screenshots from the dent anyway. Hey, here's something that everybody here will absolutely sympathize with me about: my 'boyfriend' yesterday, in an effort to impress several other friends of mine, took my copy of SLG and put it down his pants!!!!! I almost started crying!!! He got a very VERY severe reprimand over that little effort, and I don't need to say, he will NEVER be doing that again. He made my friends laugh though, and one of them is even a Tori-lover - he saw her in Brisbane in '94... and even HE laughed. I didn't though. Well, I've spent the first hour of my morning stuffing around on Oztori, so guess I better do some serious work. much love, Hols ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 24 Sep 2001 00:33:12 +0100 (BST) From: =?iso-8859-1?q?Daniel?= Subject: [oztori] The Steve Horan Issue Hey all. Its just come to my attention that Steve Horan has subscribed to OzTori (with the most amazingly pretentious of email addresses, but thats not the issue). I've decided that, rather than boot him out immediately, to give him a chance. And, since I know that he'll be reading this, I'll list the criteria here. When I say "you are out" means banned from the mailing list and #oztori. #) If you offend or abuse ANYONE on the list and they report it to me, or if I or a majority of list members consider it offensive, you are out. $) If you offend or abuse ANYONE offlist (ie - via a private email) as a result of having met them on the list or in regards to a list topic or communication and they report it to the list, me or Kate you are out. %) Same applies to entering the #oztori channel - offend and you are out. *) Also, until the channel is registered, you are NOT to be the sole holder of ops - at least 3 other people must hold it with you. Afterwards, you are not to hold ops at all. Of course, having said this, if I receive 10 emails (not sent to the list, just to me personally) saying "no, we don't want him back" I will boot you immediately. You really did a good job or burning those bridges before, didn't you mate? Cheers, Dan, the Alanis Morissette of OzTori - only my voice doesn't make your heads explode.
