It was actually quite a dark program for a 'cartoon'... I wasn't a fan of Snarf though! ;o) And Liono - the main guy was pretty annoying - the others were good. Before that princess took over? Sven was cool. Did anyone else watch that Dungeons and Dragons cartoon - where they all fell into this realm and were ALWAYS trying to get back to their own world but were never successful - there was one episode where they were VERY close! There was that annoying mage/wizard/nerdy/annoying/wingey guy. They were all kids. But moving away from Cartoons what about good/bad Eighties sitcoms!?! There of course was the perennial "Hey Dad!" but the best was ALF! "Hey Bart, ALF is BACK... in POG form!" LOL! I had a wierd flashback a while ago about another bad afternoon sitcom - "Little Vicky" ARRRGH that girl who was really a robot with the smarmy brother! ARRRRRGH! ;o) There was some good Australian stuff... "Elly and Jools" was pretty good. There was also that one on Channel 10 where they had to find pieces of some larger puzzle before they could leave Earth (these kids) and they were living with this family and the parts were pink or something - and there was a dog. I REALLY can't remember it - but every ep they found another part. or something. There is so much other stuff - I was talking to a friend about it the other day at uni - we nearly went on like this for an hour! It was HILARIOUS! She's gonna plan an 'eighties themed' party - which sounds like FUN! LOL! She wants to show all the great Eighties movies that we all would have watched! Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal!, The Neverending Story, Tron, the Goonies! there were soooo many! Anyone realise that they are doing a sequal to the Goonies!! Ohh ohhhhh Fraggle Rock... Take your cares away, *clap clap* hungry for another day! Down at fraggle rock! The song doesnt actually say that she was killed by a knife, but the father does tell the child to stop playing with his toy knife, and he does talk about the 'boo boo on mommy's throat', telling the child it's spilt ketchup. My thought was that he's... *thinks of a nice way to put this*... made a large incision with his knife along the mother's throat... and as the child is playing with it as she's being strapped into the car seat...
