Oh - and if you are as picky as i am - get the "vegetarian" eggs - it means the chickens that laid them are fed on grains etc - not meat - cause they usually are fed on other chickens that have died and been munched up. He even went as far as to suggest that the countries which were supply Amos' recorded material were as bad as Tori herself. The UK has already pledged their support of the United States, and other countries are expected to follow. President Bush failed to clarify whether or not Amos' past contributors - the likes of which including Nine Inch Nail's frontman Trent Reznor, Welsh crooner Tom Jones, and dance music ethusiast Armand Van Helden - will be implicated in possible bouts of retaliation. President Bush refused to comment on samples of him and his father featured on Amos' most recent release. __________________________________________________________________ Get your free Australian email account at http://www.start.com.au ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 23 Sep 2001 5:02:32 +1000 From: Justa Boi Subject: [oztori] Best looking male Artist ARIA goes to... I think it's very curious that someone mentioned Alex Lloyd for this catergory. I adore his music, but really I don't think he goes anywhere near this catergory. Candidates for Best (looking) Male Artist - - Tim Robinson: Blonde guy out of Hi-5. (Sad, but true.. hehe) - - Neil Finn: Not even a real Australian per se, but rather a Kiwi import.. but hell if you don't have enough skilled labour you import it from other countries. Its apparent we are in need of good looking male artists. - - David Campbell: Star of "Shout!" the musical about Johnny O'Keefe (which really makes you wonder about how "Wild"/"Tame" the wild one was...) and bizarrely Jimmy Barnes' son. - - Eskimo Joe: "Who sold her out? We all sold her out!" Ok so they're very "pop" these days, and their posters are very - well.. glossy. But it seems to work. - - The Living End (especially the vocalist.. whatever his name is): I must admit I didn't think this until very recently and only because of one photo in a recent Drum media publication. Feel free to add people to the list. That's what lists were made for - to be distorted and recycled. ;) __________________________________________________________________ Get your free Australian email account at http://www.start.com.au ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 23 Sep 2001 05:37:23 +1000 From: Daniel Hirning Subject: [oztori] Re: Are you gay? CD differ? worth > buying? the vinyl and gatefold cd are almost IDENTICAL packaging wise - they both fold out the same. the vinyl is just...big and vinyl-y so therefore automatically cooler. the only diff is the CD is, of course, one cd. it has lyric sheet and a cd slipcase with credits and thanks on it. the vinyl has two lyrics and credits sleeves and the thanks are actually printed on the centre label of side 4 (heirloom/harm of will/unison). and the cd is as i'm sure you've all seen pretty much just another cd, just with solid white back and stickered tracklisting. also, the inlay behind the cd tray is double sided. oh the artwork in the gatefold is a larger, expanded version of the one in the centre of the lyric booklet. so, i'll leave it up to you whether you think they're good or not. i love them. xoxo Dan ;) (who has suddenly rediscovered nina gordon...she's lush!) ===== Get your free @yahoo.co.uk address at http://mail.yahoo.co.uk or your free @yahoo.ie address at http://mail.yahoo.ie ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 23 Sep 2001 00:49:38 +0100 (BST) From: =?iso-8859-1?q?Daniel?= Subject: Re: [oztori] LETTERMAN NOW!!!!! sheesh the one time she is ACTUALLY ON and noone has any notice except for all you people who are up at midnight watching tv and on pc as opposed to some people who are sick and in bed trying desperately to sleep. crap, fuck, shit, damn, &c. did anyone tape it? xoxo dan ;) ===== Get your free @yahoo.co.uk address at http://mail.yahoo.co.uk or your free @yahoo.ie address at http://mail.yahoo.ie ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 23 Sep 2001 00:52:27 +0100 (BST) From: =?iso-8859-1?q?Daniel?= Subject: [oztori] george > As for George on the 9 of Oct... - I've just > looked at the date... - > and that is going to be on a Tuesday! - so i > could possibly go!! - > YAY! :) > > who else is playing? and how much are the tix? damn if my brain had been working properly i could've popped into the metro to buy a ticket yesterday. can anyone grab one for me if they are in the city, i will pay them back or...something... xoxo dan ;) (the 9th is the same day kate & elissa is going, right?) ===== Get your free @yahoo.co.uk address at http://mail.yahoo.co.uk or your free @yahoo.ie address at http://mail.yahoo.ie ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 23 Sep 2001 00:53:57 +0100 (BST) From: =?iso-8859-1?q?Daniel?= Subject: Re: [oztori] Letterman please!!! > (Kate if I can get it off you, I'll be down in Syd > next week, so you > wouldn't even have to post it if we can arrange a > meet.
